Valentina is very tall, a "giant"? Consider that Hilary Hahn, whom I saw in Salt Lake City and met afterward, is very short. Perhaps between them, they're almost of average height? Hahn has received classical Grammys, recorded over a dozen albums, so really it's an honor for Lisitsa to be playing with Hahn more than vice versa.

@boomer4666 My comment had nothing to do with revealing clothes, merely the overdesign of their gowns. I'm all for dressing up, but those dresses are just hideous. But I guess it's all about the music anyway. : P

Valentina picked a fine musician to play with. Hilary won a 2009 Grammy for best instrumentalist. Wonderful violinist and pianist.

I saw them in Seattle last year. Very fine performance. I especially liked the programming: Brahms, Bartok, Ysaye, and Ives.  Wow!

These two wonderful musicians together in concert is just beyond description. I was able to see them in NY a year or so ago, it was amazing! Full of energy, joy and wonderful technique, just as you see here. Bravo!

You really should not video tape these things live, because it can distract the performers, and obviously it's illegal. Hilary Hahn said so herself. Anyway, it was a great performance:) I had the privilege of going to this recital in NY and I absolutely LOVED it.
