  • hahahahahahahahahhaha dude dumb move driving that in there in the first place. its a crane what did you need so bad you couldnt reach from the non super muddy spots?

  • @jgood1089 what's dumb is your response to this video, first it's a side boom, second, it's a pipeline and some of the terrain pipeliner's go through is very inhospitable, when engineers have decided where the pipe is supposed to go, it is up to these guys to lay it down where it was designated to go

  • This pipeline was for natural gas not crude!

  • Wow, talk about overstating the economic impact. Since when does getting paid for a deal you didn't want to make in the first place justify the deal? This pipeline is not heating our homes or cooking our food. This pipeline did not "save" our state in any way. In the long run, it does more damage to the environment in its on site impacts and in the tar sands oil fields whose dirty fuel it transports. Pollyanna bright-siding on this one is just cover for a foreign corporation screwing Americans.

  • @madvilletimes For the record the "tar" sands are an overall cleaner (think of it has a giant clean-up project somewhat) and friendlier source (read: you're not supporting terrorism by going oilsands) than 95% of what comes out of the other side of the planet..

Of course there are things we can do better about our oilsands here in Alberta, but being a jerk like 90% of "vocal" environmentalists doesnt get things done as easily nor with improvement to technology/methods..

  • You people want to bitch about a pipeline going through your land, but your getting paid for it! and the pipeline is heating your homes, bringing fuel to America, cooking your food...... But your putting all your trash into landfills, I KNOW this pipeline was a savior to your state, counties, and towns!!! If this line did not go through your area IM sure some of your local businesses would not have made it! So instead being negative your should look on the bright side!

  • @rumblebee1462 this pipeline is to transport crude to a hub in Cushing, OK and on to Houston has nothing to do with heating homes it helps with logistics. Its cheaper to ship this crude out of our country through the Gulf Coast terminals.
