i use FOB's and i also shoot vanes with my super short PSE xforce, but in your video if you listen close you can hear the sound of the FOB as it flies , until it hits the target almost , or maybe im hearing the wind in background but it does seem to coincide with the arrow flight. i love the FOB's but it does slow the arrow just a bit,
ive killed 2 deer at 74 and 77 yds with no problem and i seen my dad hill a doe from 88 yds out with a carbon arrow in the throat the deer dropped instantly and we just looked at each other as we also looked at his jennings in disbelief
fobs are great and easy but they do slow down the arrow noticably shooting fobs vs blazers when my blazers were right on my 20 my fobs were right on and 30 my fobs were 2 inches low 40 was about 4 inches low and 50 was like 7 inches low and 60 i hit the dirt but they do fly good
I think it depends ont he set-up and tune. My blazers hit at the same height as my fobs do at that 80yds...just not as good of grouping, the wind really moves them around.

They make great bows. Now that the monster is out, it makes me want to switch....but I like my X so much and I spent a lot on it so I am staying with it.
I noticed the last time I watched the vid was 4 months ago ( I have the X-force & FOB fever again) did you do any hunting with it, how did ya make out ? what X-force do you recommend I buy the 6 or 7 ? and do you still like the pink FOB's or did you find something more "Flashy". my blazers are hot pink with neon green but I love how the pink just explodes out on any background.

Thanks for the comment. Yes i'm hunting as much as I can with it. I shot a doe w/my set-up two weekends ago, the fob worked flawlessly :) I ran out of pink fobs so went back to using orange, they REALLY help out on seeing exactly where you hit on the deer, I never thought about it until I shot that doe. The new X's are out (a lil faster, more let-off) & last years are going for good prices, go for the 6 for sure. Yes we are a dying breed so no quitin! ;), good luck, God bless & happy hunting!

I'm currently scanning e-bay for a new X-force 6, I would really like one with 70-80lb draw so I can put a peep and other things on the string and still get 350fps.I have almost stopped watching hunting shows their the same thing guy+scoped rifle + 400yds and up shooting :-( I cant wait to get the Fobs ether, I will be able to line up my broad heads perfectly. Talking about broad heads what do you use when opening them is not a factor ;-) thanks again
on the x ofrce it all depends on ur draw length if you are shorter draw like 28" or less go with the 6 if you shoot longer draw length go with the 7. a longer draw archer has to worry more about nock pinch which magnifies any error in your form the longer brace height helps eliminate that knock pinch
In the event of a pass through, the fob just pops off of the arrow and drops to the ground, giving you a good marker of where to start looking. This doesn't damage the fob as I have popped quite a few off shooting at different targets..just put it back on and keep shooting.
I have 8 pins, 1st is 0-30yds, then 7 more in 10yd increments out to 100yds :)
well great shooting, you should consider field archery tournaments. I'm not surprised you passed through several targets. that x force at 70lb draw with a 350 grain arrow you kinetic energy is 94lbs. excellent choice of archery equipment it shows in your shooting
i am getting some of these soon and i can't wait to try them..nice shooting by the way..i shoot 50 yards with blazers and i am not as acurate as you at 80 yards
Thanks for the kind words. You won't be sorry you tried them, the only slight issue I had was my anchor point but a slight adjustment to my peep and all is good. The longer yardages are where these fob's really shine, especially in the wind

Pooheadsam, I really really like my X-force. I was worried when I bought it due to all the short brace height flack I saw online but I am certain it shoots better than my old 7.5"bh Hoyt...definitely faster (325fps) and just as accurate if not more.
thats so good to hear cus as soon as i get the money i am gunna buy an x force 6. I shoot a hoyt x tec (7 1/4 bh) right now and its accurate but its only shooting around 265 fps at 29 inches and 70 lbs so i want the x force so i can blow through some deer lol.
Some great shooting there as well. Nice video too, I like the view from both ends and all the editing....guess my amateur shooting form matches my amateur video'ing skills :)

i love my pse i have a thunderbolt x and it is dead accurate i havent tried it past 70 yards though i ran out of room

when you shoot an animal and get a pass through what happens to the fob?? how r your pins set up on that x force in 20 yard increments ??
