Georgia is definitely transcontinental country, and the fact is reflected in its culture. It is neither European nor Asian, it's something very different and unique!!!
Just leave Russia alone. I'm talking about pure geographical location. Get books and check it. There are boders of continents. Georgia is to the south of Caucasus. Thus it's Asia. As simple as that...

That's the whole beauty of Tbilisi, having church, synagogue and mosque at the same small square of the old town. There is one significant phrase in a popular Georgian song: "Just be a man of integrity and pray wherever you want." But if you are Russian or pro-Russian, and I suspect that you are, it will take you a while to process and adopt this information.
First of all, we are NOT mixed with the middle east, not even close. Officialy, Georgia is located in Eastern Europe but also connects with Asia.
This is why historically it was part of the important silk road connecting the two continents.
