Sciroccos are tough! i bounced an "84 off a light pole at about 35mph ( was doing about 60 when i went into a slide). rocked my way out of the rutts in the dirt and drove it home. drivers side impact, frame was bend, body smashed, drove it another 8 months, at least 2000 miles, would have kept going but i never changed the brakes. have owned 3 since and all have been pretty problematic, but i dont think you'll find a tougher 4cyl car, just check out that roll, and keeps on rocking.
