BLUES Is the root (AND the Truth!) everything else is the fruits ;-) . African roots culture will always live on, no matter how they try to spin it, turn it around, shape it, we all know where it came from, we know what the truth is (^^,). Blues baby! yay!
Blues is an AFRICAN AMERICAN EXPRESSION!!!. Because IT IS an african american expression doesnt mean to say it originated in africa, BUT, it was CREATED BY AFRICAN PEOPLE, BROUGHT TO A NATION THROUGH PAIN HARDSHIP AND DESPAIR, AND THAT MAKES IT AN INCREDIBLE ACHIEVEMENT!!, AND that MUSIC has changed the world. P.S There ARE places in AFRICA such as Mali where the MUSIC is VERY similar. P.P.S ALL PRAISES to bluesgrass musicians their damm GOOD!( THE BANGO IS ALSO AN AFRICAN INSTRUMENT!!!)

@StSimonMartyr So all those WHITE Blues Historians like Alan Lomax, Paul Oliver, Stanley Dance, Helen Oakley Dance,Robert Palmer, Harry Shapiro, Nat Hentoff plus about a thousand others were wrong and YOU'RE right??!!
And, may we ask, just HOW MANY books have YOU written?
Go take your Neo -Nazi crap and argue it out with THEM!
This removes not one but 2 very dissonant intervals from any possible harmonic or melodic movement: the tritone & the half step. Also this scale most likely came about because since it lacked the half step & the tritone, it had much weaker tendencies & therefore made for less tense music.
Lower the tonic by a semitone & U get the major pentatonic down a perfect 4th.
@StSimonMartyr You're talking about BLUEGRASS music! Hillbilly, redneck music-- A completly different format.
Ironically BLUEGRASS got it's name for FUSING African Blues with Appalachian Folk Music, banjo, dulcimers,. BUT ALL Western music is derived from African Blues. Speak to Ry Cooder or David Lindley. Ry documented Blues & ALL forms of music and searched its ROOTS...did an album with Ali Farka Toure because that's where his search ended. Go get an education!
He massacred White Christians, who stated as Norwegians, their solidarity with those living in the Palestinian Concentration Camps ie Gaza.
So Breivik killed them, en masse.
Classical Music is Western.
Gospel, Railroad, Appalachin is also Western/White.
CELTs who influenced Appalaichin music had NO influence from Africa, Celts themselves were enslaved or sold as Slaves by the English. Their music was their OWN.
@StSimonMartyr Go check out "Bluegrass" Appalachian Folk Music on wikipedia! SEE what it says..."Bluegrass was INFLUENCED by AFRICAN -AMERICAN BLUES" and NOT the other way around ... can't accept this? TOO bad!
@StSimonMartyr I have to disagree with you there. The scales & chord progressions used in today's blues. They are based off the Pentatonic Scale (Penta -latin for Five) which has its roots
deeply inbeded in Africa. One of the most powerful gospel songs today. Is based off that scale. You can figure out that song for yourself!!!!
There is no Pentatonic scale roots from Africa, or Blues in Africa.
My GOD, there was no Guitar IN Africa!
The Major/Minor system as we know it was defined by Bach's "The Well Tempered Clavier" (I think Chopin did something similar later), there he set up the "correct" tunning and also kissed the modes goodbye (they came back later though  )
Jews give credit to Blacks, when its white music and always has been, granted Blackes bastardized parts of it.
@StSimonMartyr ,So you are saying that SRV , Eric Clapton , Jimmie Vaughan , Brian Mayer and other great guitar players are Jewish . So if a white man gives black musician credit ,where it is due . Then the white man is Jewish. Nothing wrong with blacks or jewish people!!!!!!!! Stevie Ray tried his whole life to take the color out of the blues. Doesn't matter the color of the musician , cause the blues can affect anyone !!! No matter their color or religous back ground.
STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN, JIMMIE VAUGHAN, BB KING, ALBERT KING, ALBERT COLLINS, BUDDY GUY, ROBERT CRAY, BONNIE RAITT, FREDDIE KING, ERIC CLAPTON AND THE BLUES!!! LIVE IT-LOVE IT- SUPPORT IT!!! CONNIE

Blues CAME From White Country Blues, railroad songs and white folk music.
There is NO blues in Africa. Never was, never will be.
It is a bastardized form of music from White folk music, I appreciate it.

Before there was Black blues, there was white blues...listen to old railroad, country, folk and appalachin music.
Whites invented the guitar, electric guitar, and the chordal structure of this music.
Blacks bastardized it so to speak and made it their own. But whites must also be given credit, they invented it. in this country.

Pentatonic= A major scale w/ the tritone removed.
This was developed BY Whites for Whites.
Afro Blacks did Tribal dancing & drums

@StSimonMartyr So whites invented the electric guitar! So what?
Cricket & Field Hockey were invented in India...does that mean the Canadians & Europeans are not worthy to play it? THINK before you comment.
Don't try and fill people's heads with bigotry! If you feel you should, go share a cell with your friend Breivik , the Norwegian bomber.

Wki is owned by Jew James Wales...full of Lies.
Euro Music birthed the blues, all Africans gave to it was speed and rhythm.
Euros used a Diatonic scale back in the 1700s! Guitar and harmonica were WHITE instruments!
Jimmy Rogers was playing Blues, Yodel and Railroad music in the 1920s before Robert Johnson

Jews CONTROL the entire Music Industry and have for decades, same with the media.
They tell us WHO gave us what and we parrot it like stupid birds.
The shabbos goy musicians that give credit, do so errantly and unknowingly. They do the Jews bidding.
Railroad, Appalachin, Gospel, and Country folk blues preceded any black blues. But when do they ever pay homage to it?
