Volvo AB is a Swedish company that is bigger than most other companies, they can buy them back. It's only Volvo cars that's bought by Ford not Volvo trucks, buses, penta, aero and the dumpers, excavators and so on. They are still Swedish.
I don't think the car needs any body enhancements mate. It's perfect the way it is. Also with it's simple, yet complex design, the paint job you had on it would look bloody foolish. Keep it simple and clean. To each his own though.
