  • I don't know why you guys can't just see the best in all Bond's instead of picking favorites, When I look at the age of Moore in the later ones, I don't think "Oh he's too old..." I think to myself, "This is what James Bond is doing at age 58 and it's Kick ass!", Every James Bond has their ups and downs, But each of them have their own Feel, and I love each and every one of them for that reason, Comparing Dalton and Moore is outrageous, They are two very different Bonds, same with Connery.

  • @ThePhatShack They were all great on their own, including Lazenby. They fit their time. I personally see no reason to boycott Craig as well, I don't care about his face nor his hair color, he kicks ass.

  • It's the music heard by Necros each time he kills someone.

  • Early Moore kicked ass, but late Moore is probably the worst. Dalton kicked ass in both films!

  • this gives me a boner

  • not qutie matching - but good editing at the very end though (shortening to fit scene)

  • it would be a better song without the voice, just instrumental . no offense :)

  • Comment removed

  • read the description. That usually gives a hint.. ;)

  • This one isn't remotely near as good as "If There Was a Man," a really beautiful song that would've been a hit and a classic if it had actually been on a Pretenders album.

  • Great song. Didnt get the nearly the respect it deserved

  • This is the music that the milkman listens to when strangling his victims :-D

  • y change the theme, this sucks ass compered to ah ha, so there hahaha :).

  • I remember the mad milkman, kind of reminded me of a tougher version of Julian Sands or something.

  • so great !!!!! thanks for sharing

  • Nice job. Music fit better than I thought it would.

  • i 100% agree this music is better :)

  • John Barry co-qrote this song with the Pretenders and it was intended to be the played during the opening credits, but producers wanted the title of the movie mentioned in the theme song, so they went with A-Ha's song instead. This is still one of the best Bond songs of all time, and it's repeatedly heard throughout the score..

  • This is my favorite Bond film and favorite Bond song. JAMES BOND FOREVER

  • This song, this movie, these opening credits, this Bond, Necros... just about everything related to this movie kicked MAJOR ass.

Because of Necros's habit of always listening to this song on his Walkman when he's killing, and often strangling people with his headphones' cords (seriously durable headphone cords, eh?), I always refer to him as "the Walkman killer". XD

  • Of course, there's a reason why Dalton's Bond was monogamous in this one, it was a direct response to the rise in HIV and understandably they didn't want to promote 'sleeping around' as much, so of course Bond came off as more romantic. Dalton still rules as Bond either way...

  • Holy shit it's Nekros!

  • an assassin who likes The Pretenders

    wow

  • Coolest Bond Theme - should have played during the opening credits .

  • Necros is the best bond villian!

  • Yeah, he is the greatest Henchamn ever defenetly. And the most explosive Milkman the world has ever seen.

  • I prefer Trevelyan/Janus from Goldeneye but Necros is way cooler. He listens to kick ass music when hes doing his job and in agreeance with Evilvillager the most badass milkman EVER!

  • i love this song!

  • Necros Theme.

  • can someone please make a same video like this but with necros attacks theme i would be so presiated thank you so muchyeah:,D!!!!

  • It's DAlton, not Lazenby :P

  • I not that..i was referring to the comment below...Lazenby was not underrated..he was WHACK!! :p

  • License to Kill I liked as well, and If You Ask Me To.

  • Both Bond movies with Timothy are very good, but I like The Living Daylights most, for the romantic part in it.

  • Dlaton is underrated,so is Lazenby.

  • It is good but the best is

Another way to die and You know my name

    With Daniel Craig

  • No, Another Way to Die was one of the worst bond themes in years. And You Know My Name was mediocre. The best songs were Goldeneye, A View to a Kill, Goldfinger, and Live and Let Die.

  • You don´t know waht it´s good!!!!

  • i didn;'t like goldfinger. you know my name was catchy, man! goldeneye was so annoying! the best was live and let die, and tomorrow never dies was good too.

  • my name is TOM CARUSO and i thought they sounded similar three years ago.

    give me a break, fuck!

  • I think this song would have been a great opening theme. Firstly the song just seems to have that Bond feel with the background. Secondly, the Pretenders have band members from both US and UK where most fans of Bond are from. Lastly Ah Ha was on their way out, other than being a 1 hit wonder in US, hard for US fans to relate to them.

  • @Midnightguy1171

    PRICK

  • not bad

i just love the naked chicks.

i have yet to find a bond title sequence without a nude female (save for Dr. No.)

  • Casino Royale

  • yeah... forgot about casino royale.

    and q o s, i think.

whatever, the earlier ones all hade nude women.

    loved it.

  • wow, you love naked girls - isn't that suprising and really deep? :P:P:P

  • it's better to like naked girls than naked guys, i think you'll agree.

and how could i make that thought "deep"?

  • i know.

no, i didn't know she was being sarcastic! (sarcasm)

whatever, i like the naked chicks in these sequences.

  • maybe the cartoon characters in Casino Royale were naked, lol. I think QOS has naked girls in it too. They were just barely covered up by the sand.

  • yeah, i noticed.

i know dr. no has no naked girls, but I think that's it.

there was nudity in from russia with love, i'm pretty sure.

  • I agree that slapping a girl's budd in "golfinger" could be annoying. but I like this movie :)

  • Timothy is my favourite Bond, him and Sean Connery. But the majority of 007 fans don't like him. They say he's not such a tough guy as, for example, Brosnan was. They also say that he was not so "sexually active" as Bond should be, but I think it's bullsh... t. The fact, that a handsome man respects women and treat them as partners, not as a sweet decoration or a sex- toy is a big valor.

    Timothy rules ^_^

  • I aggree. He is my fav as well. I felt he was more youthful like bond should be but without looking young. He was the best actor qualtiy wise where as sean connery took a decade or more for his acting to improve. The new one is quite good also and appropriate to terrorist times. Interesting how daniel craig employs the behavioural characteristics exemplified by Timothy such as his commitment to his own moral compass.

  • i thought timothy was the "tough guy" bond, he's my fav anyways

  • Yeah, he's the best. Moore was ok as well. It's just that when Moore was Bond, it was sometimes like watching a Carry On film.

  • Wow, I thought I would never "meet" other fans Timothy Dalton as Bond. He was perfect, and always reminded me of the Bond in the Fleming books (I've read several). Connery was also close to the literary Bond, but Timothy was the more modern version.

  • What the f@ck you're talking about????

have you ever read a James Bond novel? obviously not. James Bond is not and should never be politically correct.

Then, who says that Dalton wasn't tough enough or Brosnan was tougher? Are you kidding me? it's the opposite actually. You won't find a single fan forum of 007 stating this. get your facts right girl because you really seem confused. Dalton's Bond is the closest to Fleming's Bond. TLD is the last good 007 film, LTK sucks.

    Sean& Roger=kings

  • Another Dalton fan here. He exemplified what Bond is to me and he played the character more akin to the books. I certainly enjoyed Moore and Connery but Moore, as fun as his humour is, didn't seem real and Connery was too much the tough guy. Dalton had the right mix in my opinion. Still we Dalton fans are in the minority I think

  • Dalton was a real good 007. It's just that the story plots to TLD and LTK were a bit of a snore. Nothing but stopping big drug tranactions when it was all said and done, just like in LALD, and the "revenge for Felix" theme in LTK just never grabbed hold on me. Still good stuff though because of Dalton.

They didn't have to be a YOLT or Moonraker-like plot, going way over the top, another in the spirit of FRWL or FYEO would have worked much better.

  • i like connery better than dalton by far but yeah I get your point and I wish licence ta kill wasnt such a fail for him he wouldve been great in AVTAK

  • @kdum8 im a dalton fan ,too. im agree with all you wrote but i also think that Moore was a littlebit too old for the bond character in the late 70's and middle of the 80's . The bond character is between 35 and 45 years old, Moore in view to kill was 58 years old

  • Yes that''s fair comment. By the end at 58 it was kind of hard to believe that Moore was up to all the Golden Gate bridge shenanigans...

  • couldn't agree with you more, i loved the seriousness in Dalton and he was only carrying jokes at the necessary moments.

  • Yeah, Dalton was probably the nearest Bond to Flemings ideal. He was asked to be bond before Moore, but was considered to be too young (bond is described as between 35 - 45). It seems to be feature of bond's as roger moore was asked to be the first bond, but was contracted to "the saint" and of course Brosnan was asked just before Dalton got the gig but was contracted to "remington steele"

  • Thank god Brosnan didn't get the gig before Dalton. We could have been stuck with him for around 20 years. His portrayal of Bond is very similar to Moore's. For me Brosnan wasn't tough enough or dark enough. If Dalton had done another couple of Bond movies he would have nailed it as most films in the early nineties were naff.

  • Dalton could have possibly been the best bond if he just did MORE. He was even asked to be james bond before moore I think.

  • I agree, I keep thinking it would be better if he was in A View to a Kill.

  • 1.Dalton

    2.Brosnan

    3.moore

  • At least you didn't say Connery, Connery is a cunt.

  • lol,

  • An underated song in the film. And it goes very well with the titles...

  • SHOULD HAVE BEEN MAIN SONG!!!!!!

  • is that the song that the milkman imposter was playing in his earphones?

  • Yeah pretty sure it was. I reckon the exploding milk bottles were full fat so I always stick to semi-skimmed!

  • lol

  • Comment removed

  • top 3 bonds

    1.Connery

    2.Moore

    3.Craig

  • Connery? The grizzled milkman? That tattoo-ed Scottish coffin-polisher was no more convincing than the current incumbent, who has a face like five miles of bad road.

    Try:

    1. Moore

    2. Moore

    3. Moore

  • wow Moore really... moore is way overrated and wasn't even that good. I know it's your personal opinion but I think your opinion sucks balls.

    Try:

    1. Connery

    2. Brosnan

    3. Dalton

(2/3 can be switched either way, they both kick ass but no one can replace the original bond.)

  • You're not very bright, are you son?

  • I'm sorry that I don't have a fetish with Moore, who couldn't even hold Connery's Jock if it came down to it. But since Connery doesn't wear one I guess we'll never know.

  • NECROS RULES!!! this song should have been the main title! and u just prove it!

  • I like it!

  • Wow! This is pretty bad ass! I've only ever heard it in the backround of the film.

  • In my humble opinion, the soundtrack for the living daylights is arguably the best made by John Barry, it mixes the three songs into the score, this song as the leitmotif for Necros, A-ha's The Living Daylights for the action sequences, and If There Was a Man as a love theme, all of them blended with The James Bond Theme create a shaken and stirred soundtrack. Nice video.

  • is that bassline from the pretenders or john barry? its the same as the main line in the afghanistan plan track

  • The baseline is John Barry all the way!

  • Dalton is the best Bond!

  • Wrong! Sir Roger Moore is the best. He is the oldest and did the most Bond Movies. Also, unlike Dalton, Moore is Englsh.

  • Oh right, coz of course James Bond is Eng- OH WAIT NO HE'S NOT.

He was Scottish. Read the books.

Dalton was famous for fulfilling every physical characteristic, i.e. height, eye colour, hair colour etc. and he also kept a copy of one of Fleming's books on hand during the filming.

  • Lol, well Bond's father was supposed to have been Scottish and his mother Swiss, and he brought up in England. Fleming had Scottish ancestry so it is perhaps why he modelled everyone's favourite hero with that lineage too.

  • Dalton would kill Brosnan with one punch.

  • Perfect song... The Pretenders knew exactly what to do...and did it with brille.

  • NECROS was a BEAST!!! good song!!

  • I love that "wah wah wah" bit right after where has everybody gone is sung lol.

  • That "wah wah wah" is a trademark of John Barry's in many of his Bond soundtracks! This was my favorite Bond soundtrack right up there with "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" and "Goldfinger."

  • Ausome song ashame it was'nt a hit is so good. Thanks for uploading champ.

  • WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERE has evrobody gone ?? i love this part ^^

  • This theme is far better than A-ha song. The only issue that i have with this song is that is too much broody to be the main title, altough this theme appears much more time in the movie than a-ha song.

  • @juangv9

Better than the a-ha song??! Is it fuck, you need to get some taste.

  • I love this song. Thanks for uploading! :)

  • what is the name of this song

  • "Where has Everybody Gone" by The Pretenders

  • Great Job; I always upset that this song was only heard on the Walkman; great song; I've gotta Convince Chrissie to do this live...

Good luck to me with that...

  • the pretenders best song..i love it..thanx for posting!

  • Good song, thanks for making this, didn't know The Pretenders did 2 songs. Ty

  • this is a very good song but i still like the original theme better, but at lest a little of this song was in the movie(the milk man had it on his radio xD)

  • Hey, great job with this! :)

  • That's a very good song! Too bad there's no music video for that!

  • No problem; glad you liked it!

  • Thank you for getting this up there!

I really think this should have been the title song, tho I'm a big a-ha fan.
