I love using primers but then most of them have talc, which is associated with a lot of health problems, including cancer. I'm not a dr or trying to freak ppl out, almost everything we use these days has something in them thats not good for us. But if we're gonna use primers EVERYDAY knowing it has talc then we should reconsider it, and reduce it's use for more special occassions...

i would definately not use the glitter around your eyes. if you get glitter in your eye it can become lodged in your retina and impair your vision.

I just checked out what you were talking about. You are aware that you will be getting an empty palette right? The item is listed as an empty ben nye palette. And the sell individual refills for 8.99. You have to buy the refills to fill up the palette. It is not a good deal. It would cost over $120 to buy the empty palette and fill it up. Sorry babe but it isn't a great buy. :(

But they do have a listing where you can purchase all in for 59.99 + 8.09 S&H. :)

The Ben Nye Neutral Set Powder and Final Seal are AMAZING! I've been doing theatre for years and those two things always have a special place in my makeup box for shows. We wore both products when I did CATS the Musical and, even with all the dancing (2 straight hours of dance) and sweating and bright lights, our makeup did not budge.

i should mention that the Ben Nye Final Seal also waterproofs your makeup, and is comparable to Make Up Forever;s fix+spray. I own the neutral set powder... the best. Might wanna look into the banana powder.

The glitter glue is not good for the eye area because it contains alcohol so it makes your eyes water, but good for other areas of your face or body.

That Ben Nye glitter glue stuff I love. I have the type that already has glitter mixed into the pot (purple & red) and I used for Halloween and other various times (makes a cool liner)

My only problem is using as a lip glitter it tends to peel (as one would expect) and you can't really carry the bottle with you, or put anything on it... so it's fun, but not very practical.

I made the mistake of buying the magicake palatte because I liked the basic colors that I don't have in my regular shadows. Big mistake. Those ARE water activated and once they're applied that's it... the color is where it's gonna be... no blending is possible. I've seen plenty of videos using these dry though so hopefully when mine comes in (I ordered the RIGHT one today, haha) I can use it dry... because I hate having to deal with water and how much to put in and the mess that comes with it.

Ive had this pallete for a while and its amazing. I got it from alcone professional makeup supply store they have a website there prices are very good..

they are good wet but i prefer them dry and the brush is nice ive used it for under my eyes like a liner ive even used it to dab color in the corner or the crease so keep the brush it may come in handy

Can the Neutral set be used daily on any type/brand of makeup or is it strictly for Ben Nye? I'm in Florida and the summers just kill my makeup and ME! Sometimes even in the winter time here it is still too hot for me. Most of the time I don't even bother with much makeup because of the heat!

Ticks me off to spend alot of time trying to get the makeup looking good, just to walk out the door and sweat it all off! So, if this works for any makeup, I'm getting some.

I dont think so...not sure. You can buy refill versions of Ben Nye lumiere shadows, but they are much bigger. They would fit if you take out the MAC palette well.

i got my palette from uk where i live and here it costs £59 which is more expensive than other countrys but omg i would pay 2x that i absolutely adore this palette i wouls say the best eyeshadow ive ever tried even better than MAC which i also love its especially good over ben nye creme colour doesnt crease and lasts ages def worth a try :)
