@Rockylols this movie is a masterpiece, its visually perfect, its true it can be better i guess, cause lars pays attention to every little detail. Its clear that lars movies are not made for everyone, it very violent at a certain point, and very explicit.
Its nothing like Raquiem..and i love that movie, but has a moral background. This is all about chaos. I also recomend his last work Melancholia, again a masterpiece.

Like any flick by Lars Von Trier, you can love or hate it. IMHO this is one of the most disturbing horror movies I´ve ever seen but at the same time I like it and I´m planning seriously to watch it again. Antichrist is, in some way, a heavy critic about how the society considered (and still does it) women as the true nature of evil.
This movie has ABSOLUTELY NO REDEEMING QUALITIES. You will regret watching it and the disturbing images will stick with you forever. The story is lousy and misogynistic; the images are graphic to the point that you could be physically sick.

I understand how so many people don't like this movie, it's quite graphic... But it has so many layers and can be viewed from so many different points of view it's just brilliant. Once you get past the initial disgust and shock, you realize how much symbolism and subconscious games flows through the entire movie. Von Trier gave such an importance to details, and once you notice those little details, you are left blown away. It is an amazing film, but very few people understand that.

Actually finished watching the "Art Film", "Anti-Christ". Very interesting, also, VERY graphic, and at times, disturbing. From what I've understood of the film, it's about a woman (subconciously) blaming her husband for the accidental death of their child. In her grief, she becomes enraged, possessed possibly, and commits her husband to the role of the "anti-christ", the devil, and seeks to destroy him, and all things "inherently good" by him.

Actually finished watching the "Art Film", "Anti-Christ". Very interesting, also, VERY graphic, and at times, disturbing. From what I've understood of the film, it's about a woman (subconciously) blaming her husband for the accidental death of their child. In her grief, she becomes enraged, possessed possibly, and commits her husband to the role of the "anti-christ", the devil, and seeks to destroy him, and all things "inherently good" by him.
