Andriod has come a long way, the G1 was ugly and short lived. I prefer the iPhone over any android phone, the nexus 1 is close but the fact that you can only use the internal 512 MB of space for apps and not the 4GB SD card is a shame. On the iPhone you can use all the 8GB, 16GB, or 32GB for what ever you want.

oh wait... the screen on the n1 is about as much as the iphone screen as the iphone is similar  to the moto razrs screen. its way higher res. its larger and its AMOLED.

the technology wasn't readily available or cheap even when the iphone came out. and touch screen ui's were out before 2007 btw there were similarly shaped devices that had a similar ui and ran small applications, some even made calls. they were called PDA's. like the palm.

Not trying to downplay how great the nexus one is but for people who know tech. processor speed is a little misleading.

The Droid does run at 550mhz...however it uses an ARM8 architecture processor which makes it almost about equal to the 1ghz snapdragon.

Also the droid has a separate gpu while the nexus has to take the whole graphical load. But the big ups is to the ram on the nexus one

@Djazeiry That's what I thought. Remember that the human eye only needs around 20 frames to see video w/o stutter and 30fps sees perfect video. This phone should run most 3D HD games well above that 27fps.

On some PC and Console games fps often dip below 20frames (Gears hit 12fps at times), but highs can reach 200+.

From what I understand, if it runs benchmark above average what you see here, it would beat Nvidia's current Tegra chip. Which isn't even close to 1ghz Arm chips at this time!
