It's really not hard to understand the "Trickle-down" theory, as it's called.

Lower the taxes on the rich. They'll have extra money to hire people, which means more jobs and higher wages. It's good for everyone.

The reverse of this, which Obama wants to put in play, is RAISE taxes on the rich. Thus they CUT jobs and lower wages. Not particularly good for anyone.
