Ofc what he's showing here wont work on a Mac (running snow leopard) if you've updated it the past 3 months, since Korg havent bothered updating their USB-driver the past 10 months... And the customers are just kept waiting and waiting... Note this affects ALL Korg gear, not just KP3s...

@stevoelmo Everything 10.6.4 and older SHOULD work just fine. So as far as i know you should be ok. I suppose they'll also come around and fix it eventually, just think that more than 3 months of "evaluating support of 10.6.5 and newer" (their words) is too much, and making a mockery of their customers as well as their so-called customer support... Which is a darn pity, because in all fairness, i think the gear itself is amazing, but they gotta back that up with drivers etc...

@mesaoneCCK Looks to me like it's a stutter-type effect similar to "Beatmasher" from Traktor Pro. Live Delay effect triggering can also produce a similar effect if done in a certain way. Basically think of it like a live g-l-l-l-l-l-itch e-f-f-f-f-ect.

my main question with this thing is are you able to actually sample anything you want. By this I mean, since you have it synced up via USB to a software like Ableton, can you sync these up to CDJs, yet alone your mixer? Are you using this as a controller for Ableton AND it's natural Kaoss abilities/FX? Would you be able to play any song into it and mess with it?

It's a USB-B to USB-A cable. Go to Radio Shack and ask them; they'll have one.

RCA plugs are used only for raw audio, not midi controlling. MIDI cords require extra hardware, which you don't need.

Hey I need a bit of help. I'm trying to record vids like this one: I have out cables that convert into an mp3 jack so that I can plug the jack into my iPod nano 5g and record the vid. However, even though everything is plugged in, the iPod only records outside noise and not what I am playing on the KP3. I got it to work once or twice but I don't know how, so I don't think anything is broken... Please help!
