Make sure Samsung New PC drivers are installed and try a different data cable.

Do you have an SD card in it? I noticed that yours said you have a little more than 10 GB available. I've noticed that a lot of my problems come from the fact that the phone freezes because the card doesn't transfer data fast enough, and i'm concerned that it'll freeze while trying to flash it. Will the flash work if i take out my card?

Just Google Samsung Focus USB driver. The first link should be one to Samsung's page and the support site to install the driver.

@Ridn2Lo thank you so much for getting back to me promptly. I did some research and a lot of the causes come from a non oem usb wire. Once i have that I will install the the samsung pc studio. I found the driver but my computer keeps failing to install it. Ill let you know how everything turns out. Cheers!

Another thing you can do is install the Samsung New PC Studio version 1.5.1. It contains the necessary drivers you need also.

When flashing it to 7004, does it still keep the carrier? I have T-mobile and I was wondering if I would have to unlock it again.

It should stay unlocked. Normally most phones are unlocked permanently after you unlock them the first initial time.

Is your phone in download mode? Which version did you use: 7.21 or 7.05? Also, what type of phone are you using?

Are you still using the Beta Test build of Zune that was installed for the Mango Beta? If so, then you need to uninstall it, go to Zune.net, download the current version, and re-install on your PC. I had to do this once and it worked for me.

I keep getting an error that my device is not compatable the error in the tool says:

Is there a way to Flash UNLOCK?

Which version are you using? 7.05 for Samsung Focus or 7.21 for all devices? If you have a Focus, you need to use the 7.05 program.

Not really sure because I've only done the Mango update to my Samsung Focus. One of my viewers has an HD7 and he told me he got it to work. His Youtube name is GUCCI13234. See if he can lead ya in the right direction.
