Read Misirkov's diary - the full text is now online. There are hundreds of references to Macedonian Bulgarians and to him being Bulgarian. It is clear, if you read the diary, that he uses "Macedonians" and "Bulgarians" not as non-overlapping terms but one in as ethnicity - the other more as a geographic term. Read the full diary - it is very enlightening.

The trick, dude, is not to read "about Misrkov" but to read what Misrkov actually wrote himself. Not only the Skopian edition of "On Macedonian Matters" but all the other things he wrote. The Diary is one of the best sources to see how he felt. The quotes I posted are just from the first 1/10th of the diary. If you want to read "about" Misirkov - read what what Ivo Banac, a famous Jugoslav historian, thiks about Misirkov - Banac is by no means pro-Bulgarian.
No one wants to change your identity - you can self-identify as you like. What we want is that you do not steal our history and heritage. You should accept the fact that Samuil self-identified as "Bulgarian Tsar", that the Bulgarian teachers who found the "Bulgarian Maced. Edrine. Rev. It is indeed true that Samuil was only half Bulgarian: His father was Comita Nikola, the ruler of Serdica, and his mother was Ripsimia of Armenia. On the other hand the other famous "Macedonian" emperor, Stefan Dushan, was half Bulgarian by way of his mother, Teodora. (Dushan's wife, Elena was also Bulgarian).

Read Misirkov's diary - the full text is now online. There are hundreds of references to Macedonian Bulgarians and to him being Bulgarian. It is clear, if you read the diary, that he uses "Macedonians" and "Bulgarians" not as non-overlapping terms but one in as ethnicity - the other more as a geographic term. Read the full diary - it is very enlightening.

The trick, dude, is not to read "about Misrkov" but to read what Misrkov actually wrote himself. Not only the Skopian edition of "On Macedonian Matters" but all the other things he wrote. The Diary is one of the best sources to see how he felt. The quotes I posted are just from the first 1/10th of the diary. If you want to read "about" Misirkov - read what what Ivo Banac, a famous Jugoslav historian, thiks about Misirkov - Banac is by no means pro-Bulgarian.

Im im not THAT ethnically mixed...I know im Mixed...but likewise my descendents lived on Macedonian soil and my family all say they are Macedonians. I mean Macedonians were FORCED to attend Bulgar schools and the term Bulgar related to a Christian "Slav" who attend the "Bulgar Church" since the Macedonian was Forbidden. You could say the Macedonians BECAME Bulgarian but NOT WERE but then again the main reason was OPRESSION, ASSIMILIATON and PROPAGANDA. Hence the reason why I stand before you PROUD to be Macedonian. BS!There isn`t even one document which proves existence of Macedonian ethnicity(seperate of the Bulgarian).There are 3 preserved stone inscriptions from the time of Samuil.On two of them he calls himself Bulgarian ruller and king of the Bulgarians.The third was made by Peter-Delyan and he also call himself Bulgarian.The fyromans aren`t mentioned in neither one document until 1944 when the Serbs created you.Just forget that you will enter the EU with Bulgarian history, language and heroes!
