What a great idea to film that performance on the 1958 tv! (I think ours was a 1960 RCA console, but we got our first color television in the summer of 1969 because my father wanted to see the lunar landing in color - and we did) This picture looks so much better than ours ever did! Seeing "rabbit ears" brought back some funny memories about holding them 'just so' in order to improve reception - and adding aluminum foil to the ends at times too! Thanks for the memories!
paulsimpson123, its on DVD. You can buy VL. 2 of the Judy Garland Show or buy it sepretly. Its The Last Chapter. I can't remember if its the last episode or the second to last episode. :/
This particular episode is episode number twenty. It is contained on Volume Eight of The Garland Show: The Last Album. Although the particular DVD that contains this episode is Labeled THE LAST ALBUM, that is fable. Nearly I think about five have been released since this so called last album was released. But if someone is looking for it search for volume eight, or the last album.
Here's some trivia--this is the episode that originally aired in 1964 immediately after the Ed Sullivan debut of The Beatles. You can get the DVD of the Sullivan show and re-create the 1964 CBS lineup!

Great idea using the old tv set. But to get the totally authentic look you'd have to get my older brother's head right in front of the screen.
