@Axisoflords I assume you mean by a graphical standpoint in which everything made so far in the engine has been to the consoles graphical limitations. The engine itself is the best in terms of render distance, polygons that the player can see, and ease of use. I have used Cryengine 3 in the past and It's better for facial animation but the way they have the water setup is so annoying and that the kismat is shit. Plus you can't model and texture characters in engine which is really helpful.

@Engehenk The only reason that shaders make Minecraft slower is because it's not optimized to use shaders. Mojangs unhealthy obsession with allowing pretty much every computer since 2000 to run their game is mainly to blame.

Hell, my laptop from this year has problems with framerate... Why are they supporting decade old computers? It's frustrating to me that they're more worried about the size of their user base than they are the quality of their game.
