  • Comment removed

  • 2 people are apparently sucky runners

  • Not bad for a bunch of black guys.

  • tht was intense race, its time like these i wish i ran the 400, but i run the 800, eh wat ya guna do?

  • @conricks246 dude alot of people compete in both. im a freshmen in college and i run 48's and my pr in the 800 is 156 so its possible to do both,

  • @switchflipcease yea but in my league the 400 is almost always right after the 800, im only a soph in high school tho im hoping to do more races next year and i get better

  • @conricks246 well just run the relays then buddy. 4x400s are fun.

  • @thetrackstart tou may be fast but you cant spell worth a damn

  • lol reginald dardar

  • @kahlilie, you're the worst liar ever

  • @LK267

    he's not a liar,haha, he's just a dumbass dat couldnt differentiate between 400m and 400 yards...

  • Jeremy wariner still smashes these idiots

  • i love da 4by 400 im always aunquor i run a 49. n 9th grade

  • i hate and love this race ....we ran 3:05 at that natoinals and still couldnt make finals but it was crazy watching this race on the back stretch

  • Just once I want to run an anchor leg like that at NCs or an international event. The X-Man was a beast!

  • "we run this!" "give me some more water" lol :)

  • not tryna sound like a shit bag but im really not impressed im on jv squad for track n we were 5 seconds off that time

  • Errr, you are obviously smoking crack. That means your JV team could make the olympic finals. Fail.

  • @kahlile9 Excuse me?? 5 seconds off the NCAA record? It kills me how you say JV too because if your time was that good not only would you be on Varsity but you would have run one of the top 10 fastest times in the world. You must mean that your JV team ran 3:04 in the 4x200. If you really do mean the 4x400 then what is your school called? How old are you? What are the names of the 3 other guys you ran with? The entire track world should have heard of yall then.

  • @kahlile9 well buddy in track 5 seconds is an eternity...

  • lol the tiger in the beggining

  • Now my boy Seth ran a crazy 2nd leg for ASU. Was eatin boys up. Crazy how fast he was for being so small. Nice little school record for 4x400 for those Sun Devils!! LSU ran a real good race too. Can't argue with a sub 3 flat.

  • yeahhh x man

  • This was Willie's highlight race of his career IMO

  • xavier was good on the football field

  • Brazell ran a good leg

  • Yea he is playing international rugby now

  • this record will be broke next year...

  • @BRUNO2089 Next year when? In 2010? By who?

  • Im running this in the my state meet. I think I will qualify for regionals because not a lot of people do this in the state meet.

  • My God, LSU is good. What a run from those last three legs, especially the X-Man.

  • Wow, my school is 2nd in the state of Oregon in our 4x4.

  • who cares.oregon has bad times....

  • This race is the shit!!!!

  • 400 and 4x400 are my favourite races lol

  • Great, fantastic race--accompanied by an extremely obnoxious song.

  • bu bears still dont got the record though

  • lsu has not won more relays

baylor bears is the dominating team in the 4x400m event

  • LSU has won 36 (or is it 37) NCAA relays, which is more than any other school in the nation. How many has Baylor won? 11, 12 13? Baylor will never catch LSU until it teaches its men to run 4x100's and teaches its women to run anything. Baylor is a one-trick pony.

  • well thats one hell of a trick!

  • Hahaha..Hernynack i feel you man...jazzcy ALTHOUGH ur right LSU does well in all of the relays Baylor is the dominate force in the 4x400m relay AND will be for a while...Baylor is just getting started...

  • yeah but the "one-trick" is the most important trick in track and field. the hundred is a show race, men run the 4 and that's why baylor decides to run it. cuz baylor recruits men

  • Although that may be true. Baylor has the most consistency. No matter if they have athletes that aren't in the spotlight they always seem to pull quartermilers out of their butt.

  • @jazzcyclist

Are you from Track Shark? Lol. I swear I've heard rant like this before.

  • @jazzcyclist Well even though I agree Baylor's track team is only really dominant in the 4x400, they have won 20 (at the least) NCAA relays without a doubt. in 2009 they had won 18 out of the past 21 Drake Relays, which we all know is VERY competitive. Please, think before you post, or learn what you're talking about.

  • @Dreadlord67 According to Baylor's media guide, you're wrong. Baylor has won 1 women's indoor 4x400, 6 men's outdoor 4x400's and 7 men outdoor 4x400's. That's 14, not 20. The Drake titles are meaningless since the Drake Relays always takes place the same weekend of the Penn Relays, which draws a deeper field than Drake.

  • @jazzcyclist How is that even possible? When you say NCAA relays do you mean ANY meet in which Baylor has won? This season? I'm so confused, because Baylor has, without a doubt, won 18 Drake Relays. A win is a win.

  • @Dreadlord67 I'm talking about NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Relay titles, not Drake Relay titles.

  • @jazzcyclist I thought you just meant races won. You should try to specify on TITLES.

  • @Dreadlord67 You thought wrong. You need to read more carefully in the future. I used the phrase "NCAA relays". I made no mention of Drake Relays, Penn Relays, Texas Relays, etc. If you include all that stuff, LSU has probably won a couple hundred "relay races".

  • @jazzcyclist saying NCAA relay includes relays like Drake Relays, Texas Relays and Big12 relays, etc. All of those relays are part of NCAA sports schedule. You said nothing about championships. Don't be an ass.

  • @Dreadlord67 1) No person who has followed the sport of track and field as long as I have would have ever confused a Drake relay title with an NCAA relay title, so I'll have to assume that you're relatively new to the sport, because I don't know a single track fan who would have made the mistake you made.

    2) I don't do name calling and personal attacks, so if you're looking to get into a pissing contest, you'll have to find someone else to play these sophomoric games.

  • @jazzcyclist any relay at a college level is an NCAA sanctioned relay...it's part of National College athletics...I don't get how it isn't classified under that? Even if Drake, or Big 12 are sub-groups. And I'm looking to get into a fight, so please don't accuse me of anything. But I don't realize why you're being rude when I'm asking questions and making a legitimate argument.

  • @Dreadlord67 You're wrong. Not only do NCAA colleges compete at Drake and Penn, but also NCJAA and NAIA schools compete there. Furthermore, at the Penn Relays, U Tech of Jamaica regularly competes, and I don't know what association they're in, if they're in any association at all. The bottom line is that the only way to win an NCAA relay title is at the NCAA Championships.

  • @Dreadlord67 FYI, schools don't have to be a member of the NCAA to compete in the Drake or Penn Relays, and many non-NCAA schools and athletes have won Drake and Penn Relay titles over the years.
