i think it's a bit presumptuous to make the claim that you're better than whitera from watching just this game. have you watched his other matches or the HDH invitational (which he won)? he's a great player, and sometimes he blows a few games when practicing new untested strategies, so that might have been what happened here, who knows. obviously whatever he was trying here didn't work out, but you can't fault him for 1 bad game.

@evilfatsh1t Iam going to tell you right now, if you are playing on a map with ramps on sc2... going 2 gate zealot, while viable in sc1 bw, is not viable in sc2, even if you proxy it. Reason being is the sentry. Ive replays I can show you, of people trying to 3 gate proxy zealot rush me, but how easy its stopped with a few sentrys and a stalker or two. Forcefield on the ramp buys you enough time to get enough stalkers to outmicro the zealots. So they dont go for it usually because of that.

If the Stalker is gettin boosted then the zealot will do like 0 dmg.

So u wasted 100 minerals and a chronno boost.

It is widely noted already due to their constantly playing and training. You eventually realize that positioning yourself for a three move checkmate (zealot chrono boosted for cross spawn) makes your overall position unfavorable.

i mean in sc1 not going zealot against terran in understandable..because you cant do anything with the zealot early game anyway. in pvp you always get zealots because you will get harrassed by a 2 gate if they know youre going 1gate core.

but in sc2 i dont understand why people dont get a chronod zealot. surely in between the time you get the zealot and the time your opponent gets a stalker you can do some dmg

I already emphasized that this was a cross spawn. If you simply grab the xel naga towers or run into his base with your probe, probes run slightly faster than zealots, you can see the first couple of chrono boosted zealots and match zealot for zealot, or you can get one stalker out to out-micro their two zealots.

I don't think hallucination had a big factor in the match. White-ra lost due to a lack of units. In fact, White-ra did a good job of avoiding wasting attacking time on the hallucinations.
