Actually, King of the Hill stole several writers from the simpsons around the 9th snd 10th seasons,the Family Guy stole those writers, thus why people see a lot of similarities between Family Guy and The Simpsons. Some writers just where directly stolen to Family Guy around the same time too. The only reason why Pixar, Family Guy, and King of The Hill episodes are popular is because the simpsons had such great writers, thus why the simpsons is still alive today.

The difference sbetween this show and King of the Hill are huge. This show exaggerates all things negative. Did any of you find the Goode Family to be a realistic family? King of the Hill depicts a conservative family moderately. If the same exaggeration were used on King of the Hill, Hank would be a stained t-shirt wearing, confederate flag flying, bigot dumping his used car oil down the nearest drain. The Goode family is portrayed as neurotic, and irritating. This show wont last.

The comments depict just how super sensitive this country has become and the sitcom barely makes fun because so many people do live this way - in ignorance - follow the government and do whatever your tv tells you to do. The difference sbetween this show and King of the Hill are huge. This show exaggerates all things negative. Did any of you find the Goode Family to be a realistic family? King of the Hill depicts a conservative family moderately. If the same exaggeration were used on King of the Hill, Hank would be a stained t-shirt wearing, confederate flag flying, bigot dumping his used car oil down the nearest drain. The Goode family is portrayed as neurotic, and irritating. This show wont last.

And no, them all being from Texas doesn't mean they can't have "comical relief," but 1, they never did have comical relief in the show. The whole show itself was a comedy, meaning no need for comical relief, and 2, the sort of comedy they ventured into was very liberal. What about the show makes you consider it conservative?

The fact this show has so many people talking proves the shows point.
And it's got so much truth to it, I mean seriously, what do you call black people? When I grew up "colored people" was just being retired for "black people", then the 80's brought us "African Americans", now apparently that's becoming boring and a new term is being pushed due mainly in part to the browning of America by Latinos, so "people of color" now takes hold. Geez.....

This is like the total opposite of King of the Hill lol. The part of this that makes me really scared is the fact that they have a small part of this show that has college student (non animated) talking about all the things that are bad for the earth.... They even said that farting cows are bad for the environment.... WTF?! King of the Hill was widely popular despite its Conservative talk, but they didn't PUSH their ceonservative agenda at all. This show does, and it will still not attract ppl.

all you have to do is click listen in audio, its a feature of you tube so you can walk around while comments are playing on the speakers. Its quite hilarious having a computer voice state your posts. For a second I thought computers were absolute morons, then I remembered that it was just reading what a person wrote.
