  • Some day, some way, I will remove from my brain the delusion that I am one of those who is doomed to NEVER be able to figure out how to hit the proper string when trying to clawhammer. Meanwhile, I am in awe of somebody who does it So Plucking Well!

  • Great song - loved it. Thanks for posting. How did you tune your banjo for this tune?

  • @Buffalo49 Thanks for commenting! The banjo is in standard G tuning. If I capo to the 5th fret the banjo is now in C. If I then play out of C position with my left hand the tune will be in the key of F. Hope that helps.

  • I can always count on a great version of any song when you two do it. Thanks again for another fun tune.

  • I GET ME A BRIAR AND TWIST IT IN HIS HAIR!!!! I used to sing this song as a kid with my great uncle. Magnificent again! Mac are you using tablature for these or did you teach yourself all these by ear?

  • Thanks for the message. The songs with vocals are our own arrangement and my attempt to bang out a melody on the banjo. Some of the instrumentals come to life from TAB and a lot of listening.

  • Excellent as always! Think I'll listen to that one more time before I turn in :-) Thanks for the music.

  • Thanks for listening and commenting!
