  • I want more videos like this. Has Rusty done any other cars? Where is this dude?

Someone let this guy borrow your car so he can worship/trash-talk it. Good stuff.

  • They are great cars. Really. They are Ford's answer to the Chevy Caprice. Bulletproof. Well, kinda.

    All kidding aside...

I thought it was cool that someone took the time to replace the (missing?) '86 and earlier 'cross hairs' hood ornament with a 1988-up one. They don't have quite the same caliber/class, but your video made up for it! Cheers!

  • I want to do a video response with my own '86 grand marquis :3 Interested?

  • My grandad used to own one. Loved that car!

  • I have one, and I absolutely love it. Massive trunk, a great engine that can be economical, (for a V8) and can haul ass, (for a full-size sedan) when you need. Infinite interior space, amazing ride quality, and they just look cool.

  • Funny as hell.

  • Lost my girlfriend in the plush seating

  • This car is fuckin' awesome, makes a great family car, has a huge trunk, is nice and comfy inside, rides smoothly and has balls too

  • A Mercury Marquis and a Mercury GRAND Marquis were 2 different cars in the 80's.

  • @Skatchwanguyz Yes..I Have the 1985 Mercury marquis

  • i know exactly where you are in St Paul! I MISS MINNESOTA!

  • That body style didn't start until 1979

  • actually from 1975 till 1987 was this look then from 1988 till 1991 was a different look with a rounded grill

  • My grat gradma has one that car has balls

  • T_T Well I have the same year and everything that he has broken actually works for me. Makes me a bit more grateful but its my first car and $700 have been put into it. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

A lot of things he said are so true and so freaking funny

  • I love this car. I own one.

  • I want more reviews of cars by this guy!

  • Very good demostration of the grand marquis 1986

  • Props.

  • that was some funny shit lol

  • "flims, stupid bumpers" indeed! Hahaha

  • earning it the title of 'greatest car ever made'.

  • 1978 to 1991

  • ha! ha! megarenato34, love your video!

  • the trunks are so huge in these, we easily fit 3 of us in one .. okay not easily, but we did it .

  • This was great! Thanks for making it! Love the bookshelf and seat outside!

  • you missed the unique half-landau vinyl roof.

  • har har. 4000 views for the greatest beater ever built? Looking at one for $2000

  • your right the first thing i did was cut the exhaust off and install full length dual 4 inch side pipes

  • Earning it the title of greatest car ever made

  • i got a '89

  • You're right about the Marquis and Grand Marquis being on different platforms. Learn something new everyday. The mid size ones were dull with a capital D. I imagine the larger one with a big V8 was much better.

  • i love you guys!

  • "These cars came as standard with power windows locks and cruise! All of which are broken" Very funny vid, love it!

  • This guy should be on TV he got the voice the looks and he's funny as hell.

  • Oh my God dude! You're my fucking HERO! This is exactly the same with me and my '87! I'm telling everybody about this! LMFAO!

  • As far as the year it was the late 80's when he got given the car. I would guess the Marquis was an '85.

  • @jakesaintsrow123 ur 85 could not have had a v-6(stock) bc the only engine that was avalible for the early-mid 80's marquis was a 5.0 liter windsor v-8 so it must of been a replacement or the previous owner must have put in a different engine

  • Honestly I like the 80's cars. But his Marquis was kind of blah. It threw a rod while we were driving in it that probably didnt help my impression of it. My early 80's Cutlass Cruiser station wagon w a V8. Now that car I loved.

  • ha lol nice what a car

  • These cars sucked. Maybe the V8 version was tolerable, but my friend had the miserably slow V6 version. The headliner was falling down, the seats made you all sweaty and felt cheap. To top it all off the engine threw a rod while we were driving in it.

  • fantastic video.

  • The Ride is enginerred by scientists?? I suppose you believe there is really a "ponds institute" as well. But really I love the car - that and also the crown victoria. They don't sell nothin' but small cars now a days and cheap also. Sincerely,d JAMES.

  • hahahahahaha. this video is fucking brilliant.

  • haha we all have have grand marquis mine is a 89' and the exhaust fell off after but ill cut it out to make it befor

  • I have this exact car, finally somebody reconizes how great this car is! Unfortunately I had to replace the original engine block, but soon it will be runnin great.

  • new engine = bigger engine?

  • the engine i have in the car now is a used 84' 302 5.0 engine block. the difference is that 84' one had a throttle body injection system, And my 86' grand is a multi port injection. right now the being worked cosmeticly and mechanicly. if you want i can send you send pics

  • If it isn't to much trouble sendings pics via youtube...

The fun part is: I'm expecting delivery of a '86 colony park this very evening. It's a real 80's icon, practical AND stylish!

Thanks for the info on the multi port, I'll keep you informed!

  • Hehehe, that was hilarious!

  • Ah... my car... It still drives great!

  • love those cars

  • same here
