I know this first hand (and no I'm not ging to tell you how), Eurofighters have tested in NAS China Lake but Raptors haven't. The Raptor wouldn't get caught dead in China Lake, that's a NAVAL air station(and bone yard). But I think I know what particular instance you're reffering to, and it's a totally NOT as advertised.

The F22 have at least 2 structural problems:
- The F22 have cracks in the aircraft's aft boom where the horizontal tail attaches to the fuselage.
-The F22 have cracs in "titanium casting" materials near the engine.
A key reliability requirement for the F-22A is a
3-hour mean time between maintenance, but right now is less than 1 hour! The F22 is junk, its very unreliable!
