Guys, I tried to get a Camaro for a review, Chevy germany is just 20 miles aways from me and...Guess what: They told me they don't have enough cars for the press !

this guy must drive a neon or somthing? useless gauges? bad buttons on the wheel? he gave 2 things on the car a bad review and didnt even address the ony thing that i do believe is a true issue which is the rear vision. this is an excellent car (well the v8 6 speed which i own is) but it sucks when people give it a poor review because there are people out there getting a bad impression. hahaha useless gauges.... what a guy... better than dummy lights.
I don't know where you live, but over here in Seattle you can pick up the 2011 2LT/RS for about 18k. You are getting ripped off wherever you live man.

I was wondering why he chose and Auto trans...someone said he did because he can't drive a stick. I test drove a stick and auto and the stick is a much more better driving experience.
My only issue with this car is the back seat sucks. It blows to have more than one passenger, and it especially sucks when trying to get a little something from a female companion. Not enough room. Still love this car though, I can always get busy in my bedroom.
@chevygearhead454 beast? are you serious? thats a V6 RS model, hell even the V8 only produces 450 hp. Hardly a beast considering the car weighs 3860 lbs.
@2010BlownGT It's one of the versions of the camaro but it doesn't need to have a v6 v8 is availiable. Of course hoggers like you just love pouring gas on your car.
@360MoDsX the v6 is a good car, but it sure as hell is no ss camaro. it's really lacking on low end torque, and it just doesn't have the sound most muscle car guys want in the camaro. nothing wrong with the motor, gets good fuel economy, and it's fairly quick, but ford's new tivct v6 in the 2011 stang is a much better motor. can't wait to see what gm does with the camaro in response.
@360MoDsX I personally think it's great. It's got great value for those that can't afford the V8 or don't (gasp) want it. I don't need a V8, the V6 sounds decent enough and is fun to drive too.
Hey, these gauges are too "retro" styled.... and the interior is "retro"...I guess he did'nt notice the entire car is pulling cues from the 1960's and the engineers intentionally DEEEEEESIGNED IT THAT WAY..........Why doesn't this make sense to him??

This Camaro is one sexy bitch. I love mine. The body is so perfect. It's got an ass on it like JLo. The Mustang's frame reminds me of a snotty little bitch. It's the Tara Reid of muscle cars.
@midgetman473 I'm 6'3" and I've sat and drove in one of these, the issue isn't fitting, it's the fact that the visibility in this car sucks donkey ass.
that 6.2L gets mid 20's gas mileage AND gives tons of horsepower. I know a few people that are happy with it. if you really prefer V6s, wait for the 2011 mustang. very impressive!

yes, it did and it was not bad at all. Now days, premium sound packages across the board sound pretty good. So I wouldn't worry too much about how it compares.
The controls on the steering wheel are perfectly placed. put ur hands on the wheel and use ur thumbs to navigate them, its not hard to grasp. very negative review I thought. I LOVE mine
@CamaroRS1011 Yes, I said a couple things that we're not favorable. But if you watch the whole video, you'll see that I gave far more good notes than negative ones. I may not have liked the steering wheel, but I LOVED the car as a whole.
you should have brought up the blind spots and the issue of the bulky feel as far as trying to man handle it and if you want to get comfortable and look cool with 1 hand on the steering wheel you can't see anything still a gorgeous car with a great sounds system and exhaust sounds great but I drive a 05 vette and driving in that was like driving in a truck and having no mirrors so you have to constantly look out the side windows

@ChiTown60621 ya, you're right. I was a bit negative on parts of the interior. And you are right, those gauges, be it the V6 or V8, ARE important to some people. I even payed mind to them when testing this car. However, I DID like the interior as a whole. GM did quite well and Camaro fans all over should be proud of this dead sexy car.
I agree with Nick about the passenger side of the dash, the 60's gauge pack, and the possible overdoing of the retro on the interior. I have no qualms whatsoever with whatever retro the exterior's design may evoke. None at all! That said I'd love to see a different offering that has the same exterior design and power-plants but with a more modern interior...sort of like a modern day Camaro Berlinetta. This, would be a true offering for those who don't have the cash for a CTS.
that's a judgement call. As you can see by the comments, to some the RS takes away some of the character, while to others it adds a bit of extra styling. I recommend you google image the camaro with/without the RS package and see which you think looks better.
yes you have to pay for the onstar service, it's something like 15 or 20 bucks a month. if you have not used onstar i highly recommend you try it. it's well worth the money. we'll be doing a video on it soon.
I took one out for a drive and I agree the interiour is cheaply made I was not impressed at all. And the rear end was UGLY I was very disapponted again the car is too expensive for what you get. I believe the price swayed me away from it and to the mustang.
Charlie's Comments - The Camaro is probably the best looking muscle car currently in production. This car defiantly turns heads. The v6 is no slouch, but it does suffer from a weak exhaust note. I found the bucket seats to be extremely comfortable, and I like the 2 tone interior. The ride and drive of the car is excellent as the independent rear suspension keeps the car planted and the transmission shifts are very quick. Outside of a few ergonomic / interior quirks the car is a blast to drive.
It's not a fucking sports car.....its a muscle car.
