@slydawg221 it is way more complicated than that. people like jackie who become victims in abusive relationships are psychologically abused as well as physically. abuse victims "defend" their abusers because of the feeling of shame that comes with being an abuse victim.
no offense to anyone who as ever been beaten but there is no way in hell that i would ever let any man, woman, cat, dog, or monkey put there hands on my and me not defend my self, so my advice is to grow up, stand strong, and protect yourself
