This looks to be Melbourne Intl (YMML) in Victoria, Australia. In the background on the left is a Singapore Airlines 747 which along with Emarites and Thai gets parked there so it can free up gates for other aircraft.

This model is a b747-400 ER (extended range) which has the GE CF6-C2 FADEC Engines and an Auxiliary fuel tank in the cargo hold for extended range.
