Well, it just makes a lot more sense as Allah speaks about what he has given to mankind - these seven firmaments (ozone layers) protect us from the cosmic forces... 1. Troposphere 2. Stratosphere 3. Ozonosphere 4. Mesosphere 5. Thermosphere 6. Ionosphere
7. Exosphere - these are the 'univereses' i think it is reffering to, what translation is this? Seems kind of lacking.
Peace be upon him as he was among one of the greatest prophets of Allah (God). Indeed he will return to this earth by the will of God and will bring every1 to worship one God, Who has no father or son, no brother or sister, no mother or daughter. He is from no1 and no1 is from Him. :)
Those seven 'universes', shouldn't they be firmaments or heavens rather instead? Like the seven layers of the ozone?

They are seven heavens of this world. The known universe is considered as the 1st heaven. This is not the heaven of the afterlife.
