It puzzles me to know if this guy was even looking the same direction the camera was. Ok...I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you were only hunting bucks this hunt. Crazy, but possible. 6 does and no shot. Really? What was the intent? If you did that in my club, we'd cut your shirttail off. Not for missing...but for just being retarded and not shooting to at least let somebody else know you had deer close and to look out.

BUT if it's meat needed for the Freezer and not just another Moe wanting to kill a Wall Hanger then go for it. However , running dogs is Sporting .... It's fun as hell. Most of the time when the dogs scent or jump, the deer has a chance of getting away and a lot of times the original deer jumped up is not the one ending up hanging at the Club.
Also all the corn field hunters make me laugh. THey live in areas hunting 40 acres and there is like 40 deer on that amount of land. Try hunting the big woods before getting so pretencious
@chillnshred they were doing deer drives.. its kinda hard to push 400 acre woods the deer can get any where . i pushed a quarter of my big woods and i was a poster probobly kicked out at least 50-60 deer off a quarter of my property and only shot one
@razorjosh I'm pretty sure they just used guns to kill the buffalo. Dogs had nothing to do with it. They were just flat out overkilling. That's why the population plummeted. That's why we have regulations and designated hunting seasons. It's not how you hunt. It's how much you hunt.

So a guy finally walked off in there and he jumped 3 big bucks that were laying there with dogs runnin less than 100 yards away. This post just shows how dumb you are thinkin a few dogs are gonna scared your deer into the next state. Around here if you shot a man's dog they'd burn your house down, you're better off shootin his wife than his dog.
This is not hunting..i dont like how people have to "run" deer to kill them...if you were smart enough you could scout them and put your stand in good locations like real hunters do..

Hunting is a bit different in the brush country where deer are hard to pattern because their food source is everywhere and their bedding areas are too. @ZackIs18 as someone who has done both styles i can tell you 100% that it is farrrrr easier to find a trail and set a stand. Dog hunting alows the deeer to use their natural instincts to survive. Stand hunting is way less fiar in that sense. all a stand unter needs to do is sit still and wait and eventually a deer will wander by un alert and be an easy target. Finding a good spot for a stand really isn't rocket science. Don't be such a self-important asshole. Still hunting is where the skill is

@31dragun It was a five minute drive at the end of the day. Does are illegal to kill the first week and the game wardens are thick. I caught the five little beagles running the deer and put em on one leash and walked them out into the box. I've hunted all over VA and NC and could out hunt you anyday.
