  • I would like to know if you make these mags in 5 and ten round capacity

  • @Xthextxvirusx yes I bought a couple magazines when I was in Korea

  • this can only be american

  • Comment removed

  • can these mags still be shipped to FOBs and APOs?

  • that green follower is shit

  • at the end. hello, news at ten wih sir trevor mcdonald lol

  • COLT all the way...

  • i just want to say, that it is super illegal do that in Puerto Rico island, to get a 9mm you have to pay 3,000 dollar for the licence thanks to the politicians in the senate, they have heavy weapons, but there a lot of killing thanks to illegal arms

  • MAGPUL Ranger floor plates are useful but be aware that you lose 2 rounds of capacity.

  • Funny cause any junk bin AK mag will always function flawless.

  • isn't this the voice over guy on mythbusters?

  • Dude.

    A) They're magazines.

    B) The Clinton Ban sunset in 2004

    C) The ban was for both pistol and rifle magazines.

  • I understand the stainless spring would be less corrosive, but, would it retain its springiness as well as the regular spring steel? The qualities are much different and sometimes the benefit of stainless is out weighed by benefits of other steel. I know that stainless knives don't sharpen as easy as carbon steel knives, also it seems there would be more flexibility in the carbon steel metal. And is it true that mags can be left loaded to capacity for years without losing tension?

  • You are correct; in general carbon steels make better springs when it comes to resisting set and storing energy. If the mag spring has a good heat treatment it can potential be stored for years in a compressed condition with no adverse effects. On the other hand stainless steel can be made into a fine spring, and is the current Military Specified Requirement for AR-15 magazines.

  • If you want a quality magazine get the Magpul PMAGS. These are not good mags.

  • It sucks we cant get 30rd mags in my state.

  • can you get them at the local PX store.

  • They are available for internet sales and can be shipped to FOB and APO addresses.

  • do they make a 40 round clip???

  • No the 40 round version is not available.

  • PMAGS

  • Comment removed

  • @bettyboop65340 no company on earth makes a 20+ capacity clip.

  • why wouldnt they use a stainless follower?

seems like its the part that would take the most wear

  • The springs and feed lips are really the only things that wear out... followers don't wear out.

  • Stainless followers are available as an optional purchase.

  • Alas, none in stock.

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, AR-15 is M4 Carbine right??

  • Yes and No. An AR-15 traditionally has a fixed stock and a 20" barrel. The M-4 designation tells you that you have a collapsible stock and either a 14-1/2 or a 16" barrel.

  • yeah and AR-15s can be M16's too

  • This is an awesome AR 15 magazine!!!

  • too bad they don't make AK magazines

  • Brownells does not manufacture AK-47 or AK-74 magazines. Brownells does have polymer magazines for the AK-47made by TAPCO available in black, flat dark earth and olive drab green, with 30 round capacity.

    The stock numbers are

    100-003-962 Black

    100-003-963 Flat Dark Earth

    100-003-964 OD Green

  • it's nice to see BROWNELLS answering messages with accurate part numbers, unlike MidwayUSA which does not answer let alone list part numbers. well done BROWNELLS
