No IBM can't but u can special order external hard drive with 1000 Tera bites but then the name changes from hard drive to major server which can cost millions and is the size of a house haha and relly 1000 Tera bites is way to fukin much haha I don't use hard drives USB is muchhhhhhhhhhhhh safer
1:57 lol ... anyone believes that IBM had 1,2 GB of data at all to use this harddisk in 1984? normal PCs at this time comes with 20MB. Todays PCs comes with 1TB. So, can IBM give me a 60TB (1,2GB / 20MB = 60) Harddisk today?
Most hard drives today are 3.5 and 2.5 inch these older drives that were bulk storage only often exceded 5.25inch. The largest to ever be produced has 26inch platters. The largest that I have seen and handled in person was 14inch IBM winchester that was only 30gb but that was a drive that was made in the early 70s. My school had a UNIVAC once.
what was the computer at 0:33? i haven't ever seen one of those. i have 4 Commodore 64 keyboards and 2 disk drives and a few other vintage pc's. stuff like this is just awesome. great vid!
This is just an awesome video. I saw an old Commodore(SP?) 64 in there I am pretty sure. My very first computer was a Commodore 64. I played a lot of games on it. I was about 12 or 13 when I got that computer. I am going to be 27 soon. Though that Commodore was fun, I have gone through a few PC's since then. Now I have a Dell Dimension 4600 with a 3Ghz P4 running with 768Mhz RAM. This is the best PC I have had since the Commodore 64.
omg!! that is the heaven for a computer lover!!!!....i love it.. :D
