  • It's really clean! What the hell are we waiting for?!!! LET'S DANCE!!!

  • FELICIDADES JAY KAY

  • Real Music, played by Real Musicians, creative, original, and entertaining. Its sad what our kids have latched onto in this country, and lost out on because of it. When i was coming up, being in a band and playing an instrument was all anyone wanted to do, nowadays, its almost a lost art. JK knows how to get it done, no doubt!

  • @MrCobrakurt I agree, and a lot of modern music is quite disheartening to listen to, but I'm in my second year at music college and trust me, there are still plenty of us young'uns out there really into great, great music! :)

  • fantastic fantastic fantastic

  • my balls dropped when the comes came in, from the guitar.

  • @NagrusD4Prez *chorus came in

  • I guess theyre not as famous because of studio stuff... it sounds too "digital".. everything live from jamiroquai is way better than the CD. For that he's not considered to be at the same level of all the big funk bands and hes also not the biggest in the pop scene because he's not pop... he's funk... just as funk as the ohio players or the four tops... this should be the version from the cd... i heard this first and the cd one i dont even like

  • real music from real performers, real instrument - nothing artificial

  • Triplet stabs on 5:20 are sick! Love it

  • This band remind me of Classic bands like Earth Wind & Fire & Chic.....The horns the heavy gorgeous bass....Its bliss that music like this still lives even if not at the forefront anymore. Jazz/Funk/Soul/Acid BLISS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • amazing live version, soooo happy to see them live soon :)

  • jay kay u fucking beautiful man , "i dont want to be wet" , you will never be wet , that why i love you , theres so much soul and dance in this band music , it makes me feel so good , its better than anti depressents . please keep showing the world what real TALENT , MUSIC IS ! as for america , the uk is just as bad , its all mainstream shit , none of it compares to this wonderful band , u just got to find them ~!

  • This is funky-ass-MUSIC!!!

  • I am an American and Jamiroquai was the first band i ever bought on a CD when I was eleven years old.

  • Jamiroquai was the first band i ever bought on a CD.

  • This kind of music is for the people who really enjoy the esence of this one, not everybody can feel and understand the art of this music, so I prefer this "art ", simple...

  • @fliliana888 yet this is art , this is just a group of musicians , showing thier real talent and love for music

  • The bassline is just beast !!!

  • Agree that most Americans seem to prefer puffery to real music, but there are those of out there.. a lot of us. who LOVE Jamiroquai !!! Trying to save up to go to Europe to see them because I don't think they'll come back here. so sad. I'd pay BIG money to see them here and would go to every concert I could get to. They are the best!

  • FUCKING AMAZING......!!!!!!!!

  • I think the drumming should be better at 5:08. He should double up the druming speed of the snare drum, but great song and an amazing Bass....

  • That's the sound they got in only one day there? Amazing

  • Jamirquai as well as other British bands of Jazz-funk / acid jazz backgrounds like Brand New Heavies and Incognito never made it big in the USA because music there is categorised and people conditioned to listen to their particular category. They therefore never understood this genre of music and ignored it - quite simply, it was too sofisticated for them.

  • @fantoniades we invented jazz, I dont think jamiroquai is too sophisticated for us. To your point, I saw jamiroquai in denver in 04 or 05, and was very disappointed with the size (not the enthusiasm) of the crowd. They probably will not be back. The show was incredible! J

  • @fantoniades I agree. I am American and I love Jamiroquai and BNH. It is very rare to find people here who are familiar with these bands. I also think it has to do with radio, specifically. Radio stations here are categorized by genre. I love this music, and I also love that in a way it is unique here... those of us Americans that like it consider it a good secret.

  • @fantoniades I know. It's sad. Well, here's ONE American who absolutely LOVES Jamiroquai, Incognito, Brand New Heavies, and all other groups in their genre!

  • They're so cool!

  • Gorgeous, I`m a follower since 1992, and that is another masterpiece - love it

  • UNPHUCKINGBELIEVABLE!

  • "If you stick me up for one number on a television show.. I'm dire, yknow? Fucking useless"

He sounded awesome on X Factor haha

  • sickest bassline i've ever heard. Not that the line is so sick, but the way it's been played. Just fantastic!

  • the funk of jay kay

the serious funk of the bassist

    the upbeat guitar strums

    the soul of the singers

strings, jazzy sax and awesome drummer...

    jizzzzzz

  • i have been enjoying Jamiroquai since the space cowboy... and i still do...

  • Saw them live, at a music festival called Jazz Is back in 95' in London and I was in LOVE.

  • The Way they sound is absolutely Unbelievable. Just Cant believe it.

Amazing Musicians + Abbey Road = BEST SOUNDING BAND EVER!!

    PUNCHY MUSIC?? SO DAMN FUNKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love all of their albums that is real music ok ! orchestra type that can only be created when you include and listen to people of all races and places

  • niiceee.

  • THIS CANNOT BE LIVE. I WILL TAKE MY LIFE IF IT IS.

  • I remember a top magazine listed Jamiroquai as a one hit wonder I was amazed at their ignorance.

The Industry controls the flow of the music here though people need to start looking for the actual musicians.

The Industry doesn't want anything thats improvised it seems which is what makes music really. They want control and keep as much money in their pockets.

Also their messages in their albums made it a steeper climb. Still upsetting to me I wish people could expand past their door mat.

  • Does anybody what the hell is Jay talking about in the intro....??

He doesn't like reverby wetty stuff??

  • @MmetalworksS

Hes talking about how some singers kind of drone on (at least thats how I took what he said)

Like how he is spontaneous/firey and very versatile. Kind of like Stevie not a lot of singers can pull off what he does.

  • 2:39 it realy start

  • six peoples are fucking retarded

  • just excellent !! i super like how jamiroquai is like a 12 years old boy !! haha im like that too ! so sweet, pepsi , talking about cakes and just having fun like him ! :) jamiroquai yoo are the best :)

  • hey super cool ! you are one of the guys who upload the data ! :)

  • Baselines in live sessions emerge better than on records. I love it!

  • Jamiroquai make one of the best music on the hole WORLD!! This is really MUSIC..I love it.

  • God, he's just FANTASTIC - LOVE EVERY SINGLE SONG HE HAS SANG.

GOT ALL OF HIS CD'S - JUST LOVE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Regreting that I didn't go to Abbey Road and walk across the famous zebra crossing when I visited London.

  • How many talented bass players he used seriously ?

Consider that finding serious great bass player is very rare for some people who want to started a band today !!!

  • Jamiroquai, definately in my "favourite artists of all time" list, and way up there too. I'm not one to choose a single favourite style or genre of music, but Jamiroquai is simply amazing.

  • Ahhh that short little jazz piano at 0:50 :D :P

  • Not wet, SNAPPY, PUNCHY! Ooh yeah!

I couldn't agree more with Damien Rice either! He'd rather not talk! Which is why he sings altogether :)))

  • Exelente .. muy buen trabajoo, muchos exitos .. 100/100.. att: JhossDaza Tunja-Colombia

  • coooool

  • this is pretty cool!

  • thanks for posting his comments before the song was recorded. I love listening to his voice...talking OR singing. The BEST. : )

  • jay and the band are awesome i´m from Mexico Great beat always make me dance

  • Perfect Syncronized!

Saludos

  • that sound is incredible. If only they could lose the over produced sound on their albums I would buy every one

  • @simon9600 man, that is so,so true. I think that espeacially about love foolosophy (abbe road version versus album)

  • If only their studio tracks were as awesome as their live performances. Hopefully the new album will be a step in the right direction.

  • I love them, there's not much more i can say really :)

  • love it, love it, love it.

  • Yeah, except he's not...

  • awsome music! incredible singing!

  • Im travelling without moving.

  • Certain things are better "wet & soppy!"

  • How can I buy this DVD or download it or whatever, I can't find anything.

  • search for "aTube Catcher" and install it ... greetings =D

  • 2:44 it start realy

  • One word and one word only purely, Awesome!

  • i totally agree with you rockojulian! they certainly dont get the respect they deserve and alexsummers1-i agree with you 100% too, they have had loads of great songs, especially love foolosophy, little l, runaway, canned heat, cosmic girl, deeper underground, main vein, you give me something... i could go on and on! lol!

  • if all the bands had this feeling.....

  • amazing! jamiroquai absolutely knows how to make things live

  • JK is a musical God

    Bass to die for.

    Shake your pants bad boy!!!!!!

  • Love Jay! He's awesome!

  • Cheers for posting this - truly, truly excellent.

  • I been a Jamiroquai fan since "Return of the Space Cowboy. I hate it when certain music channels like Mtv or Vh1 writes them off as a one hit wonder because of the success of Virtual Insanity. Jamiro fan for life.

  • exactly, same here !

  • So true!

Virtual Insanity is a very good song though, but Jamiroquai isn't just Virtual Insanity...all songs are pretty good.

    Good musician.

    =)

  • They are only classified as one hit wonders in America because America is full of close minded people. They've sold billions in other countries. Its sad that America prefers Lil Wayne over Jamiroquai

  • next time try not to say "america" when you're referring to the us. We all latinamericans do respect and appreciate this kind of acid jazz i don't know if the us is full of closed minded people but as far as i concern the rest of America is not, specialy when it comes to JK, which reminds me that i saw live 4 years ago and it was nothing but brilliant.

PD: who the fuck is lil wayne? haha

    greetings from Mexico!

  • Yeah sry bout that. I mean the US has lost alot of its taste in music. Not all of it, but alot of it. You dont want to know who lil wayne is, lol.

  • It's good to see people having disagreements and treating them kindly. People from the American continent have always been offended with the people from the US because they refer to themselves as "Americans". That's really bullshit. Argentinians, Chileans, Brazilians, Mexicans, Canadians or Colombians are also Americans. And we all like Jamiroquai, and recognize it as the biggest funk/acid-jazz band nowadays. Maybe too commercial... but no one cares actually.

  • Like I said before, I meant to say US instead of America, sry. I agree with you and understand your point.

  • Peace, love and music. And Kablam! RULES!

  • That is an agreeable statement, 100%. Hopefully we wake up soon enough lol. Personally, I like Jamiroquai live better than the studio music (although the studio music is obviously excellent).

  • @RockoJulian Srsly. I love these guys. I wish more people could appreciate real musical talent instead of shitty dance tunes.

  • @RockoJulian i respect that statement. cause all my friends are close minded. listen to the same artists (lil wayne and shit.) Broaden your horizons. i listen to everything but country lol.

  • @bigace511 I don't blame you for not listening to country. The whole genre of music is even worse than some of the newer rap songs in general.. LOL

  • @RockoJulian dont say America. Say US.

  • @RockoJulian America is not a country, it's a continent. About the rest, you are totally right. it's not understandable how people in U.S.A. can praise Justin Beiber and others over real music.

  • @RockoJulian I agree. Here in America it's more about the quick buck instead of making quality music and real music lovers like myself are screwed if you listen to mainstream radio. I love Jamiroquai they are one of my favorite groups.

  • @RockoJulian Hey I'm American and I love Jamiroquai and Lil Wayne's ok too :D

  • @dat1d00dx17 Lil Wayne is a shmuck

  • @RockoJulian I agree...Jamiroquai over the bullshit rap in america....much more talent and the funky beats are insane!!!

  • @RockoJulian If USA were a cultural rated country it would be known......

  • @RockoJulian HAHA - lil wayne, what a fail

  • @RockoJulian i agree with what you said, they are one hell of a band with great songs

  • @RockoJulian if they are classified as one-hit wonderers, could you tell me what was their song that made it in US? cheers

  • @akypar Virtual Insanity. Mostly cause of the vid.

  • @RockoJulian Musicians don't. Lil Wayne who? I'll take Jamiroquai any day over most of the so-called talent in the US. Only the media-fed babies in America listen to that other crap. Anyone with a sense of music avoids it like the plague. Take it from an American musician with diverse taste in music...

  • @russdonruss Thats exactly what I am too lol.

  • @RockoJulian It is such a shame that they didn't make it bigger in the States. I just recently started taking to them and it was only after I started playing the Bass. Playing an instrument has really opened my eyes to all sorts of music. I am American and I DO hate Lil Wayne. LOL!

  • @xOmumblesOx I started playing bass about 3 years ago and that's how i found out about them also, and you are right about playing an instrument. Its a shame what mainstream spoon feeds people here in the U.S.

  • @krronoss11 I wrote talking In that comment. I meant listening to them. LOL! You are right on how much the mainstream sucks here. Thank god for the internet and different way to find music these days. If it wasn't for that I don't know if I'd listen to much music.

  • @xOmumblesOx I hate all that crappy music too. Jamiroquai forever!

  • This performance is pure evidence that Jamiroquai is the most underrated band of all time.

  • @RockoJulian

Under Rated?! Dude this guy is rich as shit :P

But I agree he should get even more props, they make amazing music.

  • @RockoJulian it is not underrated its just not famous in america.

  • @RockoJulian nah.....only look all the money that have jay. maybe they are underrated, but of all time nah....

  • I finally got to see this on Sundance channel tonight, I love Jamiroquai!!

  • is this from a DVD or what??

  • is from a TV program

"Live From the Abbey Road" obviously ^^U

  • Damn, GOOD!!!!!

what are the names of the beck vocals?????

  • Fantastic.

  • awesome.

  • does anyone know if and when they will have their comeback

  • Were they ever gone then?

  • Damn amazing!!!

  • Jamiroquai is and will always be FUNKEH!

  • Derrik monster in drums! xD

  • I HAVE to see Jamiroquai live before I die. Absolutely HAVE to. <3

  • Clean P-Bass tone on this recording no doubt. That's what an unmolested Precision Bass should sound like. No hacks in that room either.

  • bassline = Gold

  • I looooooooooove the wind arrangements, specially on the chorus! they should return to the live shows...

Terrrible arreglo de vientos, sobre todo en el estribillo, deberían estar los vivos tb.

  • Jamiroquai is the MANNNNNNNN! =) talk about a GROOVE!!

  • I lov this performance!!!

  • Jamiroquai WILL FUCK NE ONE UP give me an aye if u agree!

  • this song jams..and I love the bass..that's how electric bass was meant to be played...fo sho

  • Best live version of Runaway I've heard yet! The interview at the beginning of this vid is interesting to listen to, too!

Stuart, good luck!!!

  • This is great! (: Thank you

  • How can you not like that funky ass bass playing? How can you not like his style? He knows how to lay down a groove that's soulful and puts his feeling into it...and that's what bass playing is all about!

  • Paul is a great bassist but I don't like his style...

  • This song sounds great live! JK really turns into a different person when he's performing vs. interviewing. Thanks!

  • well finally... this song live!... i found only playbacks! iack! lovely song! just amazing!

  • cantante como jay no lo hay

  • i love this kind of music

  • brilliant, love it! ;)

  • cool, are there any more from studio

  • brilliant! :D

  • thanks you very much!!

  • Cool video, thanks for sharing!

  • awesome abbey road footage of jamiroquai!
