If it's a sound board or mixer, say it as such. Obviously your audience is going to be novice since most experienced sound personnel will not be coming to expert village for advice. So respect your audience -- if your intention is to teach, then be a bit more thorough in your explanations and tutorials for those who don't yet have a clue.
