This fake, overly dramatic slo-mo chase is how I know Jesse James has sold out to the mainstream in a major way - complete with cops reciting their lines badly. Tricked out LS1 Camaro versus basically a bunch of Crown Vic taxi cabs, and he doesn't leave them in the dust? Then he actually gives them props in the end like he has new found respect for what cops do?? Yeah, right... Law enforcement flunkies.

@iambac I agree the CVPI is fast - I've driven one and plan to own one, but that chase doesn't add up. And to be honest, I've never needed a cop. In nearly every case I've come across where one could have come in useful, they've proven otherwise.
Jesse James should have fitted the dillion minigun from the "Monster garage" episode to the top of his car to take out the helicopter.Not exactly driving fast are they?
if you watched it on tv it was a training city for the police department in Orange County, Cali i belive. it was a real chase but jesse wanted to make it interesting.

thats a dumb statement, an m5 is a 90,000 dollar car, the camaro costed them only a few thousand. a corvette z06 is cheaper, faster, and handles better than the m5 or clk, and if they were gonna use 100,000 dollar cars they would have used a zr1 corvette it owns them all. i think the point was to outrun the cops in a real world situation, and its far more likely a person would run from police in a camaro then an m5

@darkzero821 i own an LT1 camaro, it tops out at 155mph, the LT1 without the goodyear eagle tires was limited to 115mph, and idk about 150 easy but it does 130 pretty easy (never been faster, but i know it does more) it has 2.73 gears btw

Im all for some good entertainment.
I like this, and i enjoy watching Jesse James.
But its hardly a car chase when its all scripted and everything they do is sure to be safe.
I dont want Jesse to die, but this looked so slow..
Idk, maybe im just used to all the shit on tv and what the news feed us that stuff like this loses its intended entertainment value.
