You just made me feel a lot better about my vocal quality. You have a young but developed voice much like mine and yours sounds very beautiful. This gives me a lot of hope a voice major. This probably sounds like a weird compliment. lol
gorgeous voice, but possibly a little more support, and just one quick nitpicky german thing, the 'I's that you sing should be like your singing baseball mit, not ground meat
@Tomeres Haha, thank you so much, but this was a very long time ago, three years ago in fact. You should listen to my newest video, Widmung, although that's not even representative. I should have new stuff up around Christmas time.
Lovely voice! You have a very nice youthful and sweet sound - however, you could mature it a bit (not the tone, but rather the production) by supporting and taking your breaths from the diaphragm - NOT your chest (if you watch your chest rises almost every breath - a *big* no no). this will not only make you sound more mature but also make singing a lot easier on you. Great job overall!
@PianistandFencer Thanks! It's sort of funny that I keep getting advice, though, because this was over three years ago. To put it in perspective, I was a Sophomore in high school there, and now I'm going to be in my Freshman year of college. You should watch my most recent video, Widmung, to see the difference. : ) Thanks again!
I know, I had really bad German diction at the time. I get German diction every week now from a native German singer. My diction is a lot better now. : ) (And yes, the closed German o is extremely dark, almost like the phonetic u.)
FANTASTIC young tenor! Almost no tension. (Perhaps relax your legs a little more and don't sway as much) Wonderful musicality. Excellent technique (especially for such a young age). For that high note at the end (i'm not sure what it is, i do it in a lower key), use the preceding note to springboard up; this will allow the note to ring more on the vowel and show off your BRILLIANT upper register.
