You can freestyle on either pump it up or ddr, I see some people do crip walk on ddr.

I used to compete in DDR at the time that this video was taken. The Pump community seemed like they always had more organization and underground playstyle than the DDR community. I saw this video a couple of years ago, and I was impressed. I always respected Pump players, especially people like this who destroy songs that difficult without the bar. Amazing.
