I hate to put people down and I for one love Hans Zimmer's work but he's not really written a film score for a long time, most of the work that is attributed to him now as being Music by, is actually him as a musical supervisor. I would urge people though to check out his earlier scores as they are fantastic, especially when he goes electronic. Ps do a google search for the lair of hans zimmer and look at his scoring room, the one wall is just a massive synth, so sexy it's almost arousing!!!

Actually I think you're right. I mean, I adore Johnny Depp, I really do! but I don't like the 2nd and 3rd POTC because It's rarely good. The first one was great but then... well I guess It's purely a matter of taste.

What are you talking about?He's done so many film scores and they're so different,at times I'm taken by surprise when I figure out he has done them.

Take for example,Gladiator-PotC sounds NOTHING like the soundtrack from Gladiator.Or perhaps you should listen to the music scores from Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron.Maybe instead of basing your judgment on the PotC movies,you should broaden your film base.
