you've probably figured it out by now, but your crackling might have something to do with your audio latency. try messing around with it in the preferences. maybe increase your latency until the crackling stops
the track you play in ableton has a bit of crackly noise. i'm getting this aswell. how do i stop it? and does it affect the final track? or is it just dodgy playback

@gricka31 lol, a year later, the clipping may have to do with the master tempo at the top.
