Ninja Gaiden is Brutal and unforgiving, and I don't mean to deface your apparent achievement, but your primary attack choice was only the wooden sword for one of them, the other you almost completely defeated with the ice ninpo. It would be different if the ninpo you used was fire wheels, because that still requires a melee attack with the equipped weapon, in this case the wooden sword. However, I am fully aware of the task you achieved. I leave this comment impressed, but not quite satisfied.
I know you are impressed, but still I think you should give arcengal aka Edge a break because this challenge isn't the easiest challenge, and the fact that he doesn't just play video games all the time, or at least I heard. Although I do know what you are saying about the Nimpo part of this challenge, this, at the time, isn't something many people will post online for a pretty good reasons...
But if you want to see this challenge beat with the fire wheels nimpo, then you could check out those videos in my channel. I know at the time when Edge did this GOTU5 Wooden Sword challenge it was, and still is a big deal; however, Edge beat this challenge once, whereas I beat this challenge 17 times with the wooden sword, and the last 10 times I beat it I did not use nimpo. But what I wanted to ask you is what exactly would leave you satisfied with this GOTU5 WS challenge being beat?
Although I haven't been playing the GOTU5 wooden sword challenge for along while, I will try to get at least one video uploaded of me beating it without nimpo when ever I get around to it.

Ugh. DMC and NG do not need comparing. They are similar, yes, but also completely different. The biggest difference being in what each game wants you to do: DMC rewards variety and flair and punishes you for using the same moves, while NG rewards you for repeatedly using UTs-- in fact, it's the best way through the game. Different games, different styles of play.

He didnt say that he wasnt going to use Magic/Ninpo, he said that he was going to use the WS only as his melee weapon. BTW At the section of "About This Video" he explains clearly that he used Magic/Ninpo.

Though i have beaten them with the WS like 3 times now in NEVER end the fight with any ninpo or potions... still good vid though

I personally thought you did a good job. I don't think I would have gotten pass this. Sigma is the first Ninja Gaiden game I've played and I have yet to master the game.
this is an accomplishment, there is no denying that. arcengal's defensive technique is clearly great, and this is no easy feat. I feel arcengal has a right to say "hey, if you think you can do better, show me," because frankly, I think that all of you guys throwing shit around saying that s/he could have done better know that maybe S/HE can, but YOU certainly can't.
why is it viewed that using ninpo make someone seem noobed? I hardly use it personally but I think its actually smart if someone ever finds any use for them.
most people consider it as something added to the game to make you invincible for a short time, and it isn't needed ever, unless you're extremely inexperienced or going for something like this, a wooden sword match
I can guarantee you that if anyone else did this, they would have recorded it. If not, then they are just one of those skilled individuals who just does not participate in the online community, which is rare to see someone of such skill not go to gamefaqs or something.

He didnt say that he wasnt going to use Magic/Ninpo, he said that he was going to use the WS only as his melee weapon. BTW At the section of "About This Video" he explains clearly that he used Magic/Ninpo.

Man i've already posted here like twice, but thi vid never ceases to amaze me... since my first post i've beaten these chicks with EVERY weapon and EVERY ninpo. to date the hardest was the wooden sword. Though i have beaten them with the WS like 3 times now in NEVER end the fight with any ninpo or potions... still good vid though

omg yo we do challenges liek that in our local ninja gaiden tournament thing...its fun challencge ur friend to speedrun a level with 2 systems in the same room so u start @ same time and all that, and then based on how u do as in how much ninpo, elixers, TOR's, ur level time and health u score urselves to c who won...its maaaaaad fun!!!

this is an accomplishment, there is no denying that. arcengal's defensive technique is clearly great, and this is no easy feat.
