There are 3 different versions of Resident Evil 1 for PS1 and they are the original, director's cut and director's cut - dual shock edition. I think this one is from either the Director's Cut or DC Dual Shock edition.

Whats with the gay music? I don't remember that music EVER being in RE 1. Especially when it introduces the characters the music was more rocky, not this 1950's murder mystery shit

I'm surprised they didn't do the same thing for Resident Evil 2 cause I remember having an old cheat book that had a picture of what appears to be Leon in his R.P.D uniform; I didn't see Claire any were so I guess they didn't find anyone to play as her in the opening.

i remember playing this game when i was like 6 the first zombie always scared the shit out meh but when i was older i realized that he was shouting "mooooooo" like a cow and when he attck u your blood would just burst and that was funny

Did you know that is the censored version, and that is an alternate, harder to find intro, that is a little bit longer, different theme song and has chris smoking a ciggie in the beginning instead of him just standing there.

That was a fun game. The opening gave alot of mystery to it. And even now with Resident Evil 4 out we still haven't gotten to what Umbrella is up to.

It's not graphics at all; those are real people and real places. I'm so glad they redid all the scenes and voice acting for the gamecube version
