I believe this song was written by Amy Grant. There are many versions of this song. Amy Grant is singing it now. Natalie Cole and David Foster, Charice, Monica and so many others have versions of this song. This song is so powerful and true. Especially in these hard economic times.
wow. this is the most important time of year to actually think about this. actually, you should always be thinking about all those needy people who cant even have a christmas list.
u need to think for othrs at this time not just ur family not many ppl would think this because their worried about themselves and not others...i would love if time would heal my heart or have a friend or ppl woudnt enjoy shredding my heart to pieces, not many ppl would think of these things in real life and those who do are too few.....i think ppl should listen to this song and learn from it.....
This is the version with Amy Grant on vocals (from her 1992 album "Home For Christmas"). But Natalie Cole recorded it twice - first in 1990 on David Foster's album "River of Love" (which was the very first recorded version of the song) and then again on a remake on her 1999 album "The Magic of Christmas".
What a great Video. If only we could live our lives this way, their would no wars, no hate only love and understanding. What a wonderful world that would be. And everyone would have a friend, wouldn't that be great.
What gets me about Christmas is translating to today. Thinnk about this in modern terms: Mary and Joseph traveled from CA to NYC on a bicycle and Jesus was born at the dumpster of a Super 8 with Madam Cleo and a few bums to look on in joy. That i show much He loves us all.
It's kinda contradictory that you put a bible verse in this video. This song is addressed to santa claus, which is against the ideas of the bible.
