the first riff is great, the second one is kinda trendy, i don't know why but i dont like it at all, maybe if the guitar was doing a harmonic scale with whatever was playing the background, the last riff was badass, its too bad its not longer, hey maybe you should play the part i dont like behind the badass riff at the end, maybe that would ad meat to the songs bones.

Ask away any time. Yes, it has an output, and it sounds amazing through amps. Yes, it uses USB (No AC adapter required!). Yes, it can be used with other recording software. It comes with recording software, but I heard it wasn't that good so I didn't bother installing it. No problem

TonePort is much more efficient. Look up those pedals you wanted and make sure they're not on TonePort's GearBox. There are extra add-ons too that might save you a lot more money depending on what you're looking for. Anytime... I'm always here to help. Thanks!

It should... I don't see why it wouldn't. I'm just not sure how it would sound. Just remember, though, with TonePort you have all that stuff to record with so you don't have to buy all of it individually.

I will, but hey one suggestion is that maybe you should put some kind of rhythm guitar over the beginning harmony. Also, don't record mono anymore. Pan left guitar to the left at about 75-90, same with right, to the right of course. It will give you a much fuller sound. Or maybe you did that in this but I just couldn't tell.

I thought about adding another one, too, cause it feels slightly empty with the rests, but you gotta think that there will be drums and what not. I also thought about adding synth instead of power chords, but then that would take away from the beginning synth swell and the second riff with the synth and guitars.

This was when I first started using TonePort and Gearbox. I actually EQed this in Mixcraft to fix it and make it sound better. I don't think it was set to mono... I wouldn't record in mono. There's always the chance that I hit it by accident though while messin around. I'll try panning it, though... I did that with another video I edited once and it sounded great. Thanks for the advice, man.

Yes, I do, man... Growling and clean vocals. Simply put, the song's about depression and maybe also about bipolar disorder/manic depression. It's unclear whether or not I have bd/md, or had it or whatever. It runs in my family, though. I do have regular depression for sure from time to time. The "bipolar" part is more the inspiration for the lyrics (the symbolism and the imagery). You'll see what I mean when I disclose the lyrics... and thanks!

It definitely will be... I recorded it when I first got my TonePort and I didn't mess around with it enough, and had to EQ it the other day anyway before mixing it down cause it wasn't heavy enough (this is still shitty tone and I'm sorry for that...much better than it sounded before, though). I found sick metal settings on the Gearbox (TonePort's mod software), though, without having to buy the metal shop amp pack.
