Here's my reality: I live in an area with a large Mexican immigrant population. The Mexicans in my apartment building toss cigarette butts and beer bottles on the ground in front of my door and fill the trash can by the mailboxes with beer boxes. They jam 8 or 10 men in a two bedroom apartment and sleep on mats. They get up together, load up in a couple of pickups, work all day, then come home to drink and make noise all night. Wonderful sense of community. Thanks alot Mexico.

My current major is Behavioral science. I'm seeing how politics, and things like that really play into it too. At the moment i'm not sure what i want to do with my life. I only found certains parts of my major that i am starting to enjoy.
Next semester i'm going to take a diversities class. And then maybe a an art class. I thought of being a professor but i'm not sure if i'm up for the grading part math is NOT my strong suit lol.

Here's my reality: I live in an area with a large Mexican immigrant population. The Mexicans in my apartment building toss cigarette butts and beer bottles on the ground in front of my door and fill the trash can by the mailboxes with beer boxes. They jam 8 or 10 men in a two bedroom apartment and sleep on mats. They get up together, load up in a couple of pickups, work all day, then come home to drink and make noise all night. Wonderful sense of community. Thanks alot Mexico.

Immigration could be controlled if the law enforcement would do their jobs. If I use a fake SS card or use someone else's SS number to work, I would be arrested for ID theft. If the illegals do it, they do nothing because they aren't citizens. ICE doesn't deport enough of them, so they have no incentive to follow the laws.

So let me get this right all you people think the US should have no laws on immigration that is crazy. The US has laws and they should be followed. every other country in this world has immigration laws and those countrys enforce those laws, so why cant the US enforce its laws people need to follow the rule of law most americans come from the process of immigration ,but there familys followed the laws and didnt break them coming in illegally.

Also, plenty of immigrants from Europe came here illegally in the past. There was no "golden age" where everyone arrived legally.

Mexicans aren't generally coming over here and taking the "good" jobs, they are coming over and taking the jobs that nobody wants.
If the Republicans want to deal with this problem, then they need to go after the companies that knowingly hire illegals. But they won't do that because it would clash with their corporate cock sucking. I worked for a company that hired illegals and reported it to several government sources(FBI, Congressman, Governor) and NOTHING was done about it.

Well, I kind of agree with the guy. There are really two problems in immigration: one is a leaky border, the other what to do with illegals that are already here.
Securing the border is the consensual part, I would say. Nobody disagrees with that, right? The really vote loser is the second, and he didn't address that.

Actually "b" is more realistic and what over 70% of United States citizens want. We have the rule of law here and we have current immigration laws on the books. Those laws were respected by millions of previous immigrants. Enforce our laws now and close our borders. Why should we be "working with" a country which has no respect for us? I honestly have no idea on the numbers of people (Mexicans) that are sneaking into the U.S, or the burden the homless cause, I really don't know.
