Nicely done. The audio makes this video work - without it, it would seem too much like a simple pan and scan of a room - but with it you really get the feel of being the one walking around the room.
This is a marvelous piece of work! Especially considering the advances made in 3d software over th last 3 years which you did without. Brilliant models and textures and the lighting is very atmospheric. Lovin' the voiceover and music too. A really nice piece!

That says, "Put the rendered frames of the animated scene (which were saved as .png images) into a video file at 25 frames per second."
I use a program called "mencoder" (part of the MPlayer software suite) that runs under Linux.
The computer weaves still images into a single, playable video file; with audio it would be:
mencoder -idx mf://render/room*.png -mf type=png:fps=25 -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=msmpeg4 -oac copy -audiofile sound/master/master.wav -o room.avi

i know this is probably a noob question, but when youve rendered an animation, how do you play it as a movie like this?
konoha1993 3 years ago
mencoder mf://*.png -mf type=png:fps=25 -ovc lavc -o bowl.avi

awsome job, the lighting, lightning and rain were the most realistic parts, and very realistic at that.
