How many foam spacers are you supposed to have on when putting on the crash symbol?

@TheHeartlessPrincess well.. there is no specific answer , but i would say that if you ride on the crash you need to put more spacers so the cymbal doesnt spin. Other than that , just try not to put too much or you will crack the cymbal ;) hope i helped

very dirty cymbals cleaning will probs make the sound quality slightly better

This is because dirty cymbals have a more darker sound than when they are clean. Everyone has different tastes and every cymbals has it's place. It's sad to say though that cymbal's place is not on a drum set
