@soinlove8306 not necesarily.. a long time ago, i had a looney toons video (a old popular cartoon) uploaded to my youtube. and it had some where around 60,000 views.. and at the time.. i only had around 20 subscribers haha. and youtube sent me a email saying theyd like to be partners with me.. but unfortunetly, it was a copyright video..

Subscribers just help you get views.. every view equals $.003 cents to you :) not $.03 but $.003. So a third of a penny.. haha :P

well i applied to become a youtube partner but they didnt message me back. I average about 300 views a video and i have over 1,000 subsribers unfortunately some subs are inactive and i think i have alot of copyright issues;(

@EmpireDesignsCinema remember they get thousands of them a day it might take them a while. generally they only partner with those making legitimate videos with no copyright as you said but usually you are expected to be active for an active amount of time to ensure that if you partner that you aren't going to suddenly stop and make easy small profit, the reason they do this is youtube is still a commercial site, the more videos produced the more likely a user will click and see advertisements.

Sorry bro but you aren't very accurate. I just got an offer this morning for a video that I posted about 2 years ago. All you have to do is get a bunch of views in a short period of time and have a lot of views total on that video and you can become a partner.

You're a fucking idiot. That's the IVP(Individual Video Partner) program not the full Partner program. You get to Revenue Share on 1 video instead of being able to have more Branding Options, total Revenue Sharing Control, Partner support and other additions. I understand you are new to YouTube Monetizing but please look into the IVP vs. YouTube Partner Program.

You know what, you should make a video of the thing that has been searched the MOST on YouTube (other than porn), like tutorials, funny videos, videos that you didn't steal or etc.!
