I did not find this movie scary at all i saw it and kept laughing at the random faces every one was pullin as they were killed or that damn last chick seriously if it had been me i wouldnt have knocked her down once then ran away so she could come get me again i would hit her a few more times for good measure lol the only part that made me jump was the end cause i thought it was over and suddenly random thing comes out of water lol

Those earlier years was the best especially this one,I,remember the release date June 13 1980.I,was eight years old,we seen Friday The 13th at the Drive-In,one thing I,do remember well that night is that music.Harry Manfredini,great job composing the movie score.

There's nothing like the original 1980 version of Friday the 13th (The 2009 remake was pure shit!!!!). The unrated version has additional gory scenes that weren't shown in the theaters.

@MrDrunb the very first Friday The 13th was starring Jason's mother. Jason was still a kid going to Camp Crystal Lake, and after he died, she killed everyone involved. Jason comes back to continue killing visitors at Camp Crystal Lake in every movie after that.

In fact, Harry Manfredini was inspired by the music of Psycho to do the music of Friday the 13th. Why can't horror movies nowadays use the kind of music used in the 1980 release of Friday the 13th?
