I noticed some "haters" putting Walter down . . . If Walter is so "overrated", why did folks like Elton John(!) have Walter open shows for him in Europe? Blues-Rock is clearly not everybody's cup of tea, but that's no reason to badmouth the guy. If he was repetitious, why was he with John Mayall for so many years? Wouldn't Mayall have fired him if he only had a few licks? Just saying.

wow...Just was sayin..the guy is overrated. That's all. Listen more closely...every song, same riffs, same overblown tone, hits don't mean much to me. The ability to craft songs, come up with something new and original..and honestly, after I saw him the second time, and had to listen to someone I jammed with...I said,....ENOUGH

I used to listent to this man alot, seen him twice....and the more I listened instead of growing in appreciation of his style, lyrics, the more I couldn't deal with his horrible trebly tone. Every song is full of the same tired, overpalyed licks, and riffs. Someone like Joe Bonamassa, Chris Duarte, dismantle this guy,.
