  • Sadly, this plane did not survive the maiden flight. It was actually a bit tail heavy and ended up in a cartwheel. The brittle EPS foam was badly damaged. It was a fun project though.

  • Hey, this is another cool conversion to RC. Hope to see more of this project. Nice hot-wire cutter for the modifications. No hot-wire device for hollowing out the inside? You may find a tool at the local foam crafts shop. I like the key chain camera/video recorders also. It sounds like you plan to fly slow, which means larger rudder. You will also want to take out a lot of wing sweep. Thanks for sharing.

  • You're putting too much weight in the front

  • control surfaces too small, especially the elevators, mine is brushless powered and my big elevators still needed mor area, its almost half of the horizontal stab.
