Sadly, this plane did not survive the maiden flight. It was actually a bit tail heavy and ended up in a cartwheel. The brittle EPS foam was badly damaged. It was a fun project though.

Hey, this is another cool conversion to RC. Hope to see more of this project. Nice hot-wire cutter for the modifications. No hot-wire device for hollowing out the inside? You may find a tool at the local foam crafts shop. I like the key chain camera/video recorders also. It sounds like you plan to fly slow, which means larger rudder. You will also want to take out a lot of wing sweep. Thanks for sharing.

control surfaces too small, especially the elevators, mine is brushless powered and my big elevators still needed mor area, its almost half of the horizontal stab.
