  • Boccaccio for ever!

  • shes an acid queen, if you know what i mean,

  • He pulls up her skirt and looks away in disgust while saying "show me your pussy" ...interesting.

The text effects look like the colour-cycling mode of Deluxe Paint on Amiga.

  • I can't tell if this is more funny or more sexy

  • Thumps up if you wanted this ACID QUEEN !! 22 years ago !! :)

  • this song is so hard and heavy sounding! i like the phuture sample and the video too.

  • I've read all comments (well, okay, not all, but most)

    check out :

    watch?v=LAOPjpa0O9M

    Circa 1979

  • que vuelva el aciiiiiiiid housee al 2012! come back!!!

  • Some bands used it conventionally as it was designed: Imagination - In the Heat of the Night (1982) Paul Haig - Justice (1983) Some started experimenting with acid sounds: Section 25 - Looking from a Hilltop (1982) Heaven 17 - Let Me Go (1982) DAF - Verschwende Deine Jugend (1982) Acid house which influenced New Beat, not the other way around: Phuture - Acid Trax (1986) Sleezy D - I've Lost Control (1987)
  • The Bee Gees didn't use a TB-303, they used an ARP synthesizer on their Spirits Having Flown album. Plus, whether they were privy to new technology or not wouldn't have mattered since it wasn't made until 1981. Did they get a prototype 2 years early from Roland? Even if they did, why would they have wanted it? It was designed to emulate bass lines from a bass guitar. Its use as a acid box was an accident by people who experimented with it.

  • is he sprawled out on tin foil!?!?!?

  • Orgasmicaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa :)

  • cool record but this didn't influence acid house, as for example sleezy d - iv'e lost control & phutures acid trax both pre date it

  • A star was born at the bocca !!!!!

  • RAVE

  • jajaja que risa con las bandas de noise ebm de los 80s

  • This song is the shit! The ultimate acid-house track! Had a huge influence on the acid house and new beat movements.

  • ah naughty ;]

  • I like the part where she dances :0, it looks all the same

  • @dns809 that's real new beat dance. I'm still trying to discover the moves myself

  • I like his sunglasses... What are those? They are very vintage :D

  • @dns809 ray bans

  • Harry Van Oekel

    Real Name:Koert Hendrickx

    Profile:New Beat producer

    (Died in May 2008)

    :(

  • If I remember correctly the front guy is Dirk Vanderauwera. He became guitar player for LoA back in 88' in the first line-up. The guy in the background is Harry Van Oekel aka Dirty Harry who worked w/ Praga Khan / Jade 4U in late 80's, and co-wrote I sit on Acid. Nathalie Delaet was first frontlady of Lords of Acid '89-90. They toured Belgium clubs performing only I Sit On Acid & Acid Queen. She did no vocals on any LoA albums, but is on the cover of Lust connecting them all to LoA's history.

  • praga didn't write this.

  • I like this.

  • Sweet I've been looking for this song for years! thx for posting!

  • Belgium ruled the world in those days !!!!

  • wow... clip and lyrics are amazing. :D cool

  • Fkn Dig This Mother!!!

  • Okay is the group's name "Acid Queen" - track name "major problem" ?

    I need to know!

    Thanks

  • The band is "major problem" and the track is "acid queen".

  • other way around, group name is major problem ;)

  • I seriously wanna know where I can buy this from!

  • Although Praga Khan made this song under the 'Major Problem' moniker, this song was released on the Lords of Acid compilation album 'Heaven is an Orgasm'. That's the easiest way to obtain a digital copy of this song.

  • damn, you talk about equipment but no one noticed how hot that chick is?

  • Perfect ...

  • This is REAL 88's ACID NEW BEAT!!!!

    to make it:

TB 303,TR 909,good synthesizers OR anothers 80's samplers.....with a "dirty acid sound " ,voices from x movies ,and a cold atmosphere.

4 exemple: NASTY TOUGHTS " acid sex" an another new beat classic !! on kaos records!!

  • cool to see this !i! i never know major problem made a video for this track....

  • Actually that's incorrect. The tb-303 was used by the beegees, yes for the drums but also for the squelching acid sounds that they make. There were other acts in the early 80s that did this FAR BEFORE the chicago acts did. Well before them.

    case closed

  • I'm sorry but I believe you are talking out of your arse. Can you give examples of these Bee Gees tracks? I would certainly love to hear them especially if they have a 303 supplying the drum sounds.

  • Anybody know the movie that the vocals were sampled from? I wanna watch that shit

  • yeah, it's from a porn called: jack & jill, a role playing between husband and wife... from late 80's or early 90's

  • Get on your hands & knees... "Show me your Pussy" ... we all luv new beat !

  • merci!!!!!!!!! j'adore ce morcau depuis sa sortie et je desespéraisde trouver la vid!!!

  • Midnitestepper you are being foolish. just google the song called, "tragedy". It has 303 sounds in it,. Mind you not a ton but they are there.

  • You're confusing the TB-303 with some other synth. It's a "transistor bass" synth, a bass line, not a drum synth.

Surely some filter squeels and bleeps were done earlier but TB-303 was created in the 80s.

  • kraftwerk were first, at doing synthetic techno and electro beats, yes. kometen melodie 2, kristallo and others. everyone copied them to some extent yes.

GERMANS fucking housed detroit's weak bullshit.

  • Gooood acid !!!

  • yo, yous fools taken dem beats too seriously. enjoy it, no need to over analyze and dissect

  • I love when they mix this song with "I Sit On Acid" by Lords of Acid.

  • speak french or dutch its belgian

  • Yep, this girl can really move-dance. That is real dancing.

  • I love these old belgian newbeat/hardbeat tracks!

  • and actually this video has more views on youtube than phuture's. that really says it all. of course these groups were tiny in comparison to stuff like front 242, new order, etc. at the time.

  • You're WAAAAAY out of line and delusional!!!

Anything electronic would have to be KRAFTWERK inspired at some point but the fact remains:PHUTURE "SLAM" end of debate.

  • sorry dickhead but phuture's song is on youtube and it's clearly a different pattern. the fact that you cannot discern the difference proves that you lack the proper mental acuity to comprehend the sounds.

  • YoU'eR A PosEr ANd A tOTAL LoSER!!!

    KILL YOURSELF : )

  • That's PHUTURES "SLAM" acid loop playing on this track...

  • or 303 loop : )

  • Just a 303 loop, the timing is different.

  • Actually no, but good try.

  • Nonsense-That's Phuture's "SLAM" plain and simple...Ask anyone who KNOWS...All they did was sample loop it over and over.

  • pure bullshit/rejectamenta. I have the vinyl of phuture, it's much different. furthermore the major problem track came out before phuture's, on kaos dance records. so it seems that blacks were copying euros yet AGAIN. just like kraftwerk. anyway it's not even the exact same sample. this is merely a 303 pattern that is looped like many 303 patterns of the 87-88 era.

so i don't think you should be upset that some europeans put out a better/harder track and had a better group(lords of acid).

  • Thanx TheUWF! We share the same opinion!

  • i think you are wrong. 'in your mind' was given to ron hardy in 86 and released as 'Acid Trax' on Trax in 87. In 88 Larry Sherman Licensed 'Acid Trax' to a Play It Again Sam sublabel and 'We Are Phuture' to ZYX (along with Mr. Lee's 'Pump Up Chicago'). Three seminal Chicago acid records show up in Brussels record stores and that same year one of the only acid-flavoured tracks in the catalogue of the entire Antler umbrella is released? I think it's pretty clear who's copying who.

  • despite what i said, i the 303 lines on 'Slam' and 'Acid Queen' are a little different, and I actually prefer 'Acid Queen' for the slower speed and the more industrial-sounding drums, as well as the great use of some raw-sounding samples. You can hear the front 242 influence! I just wish Praga Khan didn't have to put some allusion to sex in EVERY track he is involved in.

  • One thing is clear.... the Acid 303 sound didn't start in chicago. The beegees and other disco artists used the 303 in their music too. That was the 70s. Without the likes of front 242 among earlier 80s techno artists/bands, the harder sounds never would have been like they are. New beat has so much front 242 in it that it's unavoidable and this sounds nothing like slam imo either.

  • The 303 was first produced from 1982-1984. You my friend, fail at your history... And although 242 was influencial, They got alot of their stuff from D.A.F, and Kraftwerk...

  • Incorrect, the first ever 303 drum composer was made in the late 70s and used on not one but 3 beegees songs.

And DAF were doing NOISE/INDUSTRIAL on a real drumset NOT punk on a synthetic drum block like front 242 were.

Furthermore, prothese(daniel b of front 242) was doing similar music in 78. Before DAF.

    you've failed at life.

  • The TB-303 isn't a drum composer at all.

  • Believe what you wish. I sold synthesizers professionally and have been producing electronic music for over 15 years. Simply look up the TB 303 specifications for yourself.

  • It was intended to sound like a BASS guitar, not a drum machine.

  • @TheNewMusicNetwork you're dead wrong. the tb-303 was designed in 1981 and manufactured from 1982 to 1984. i can't believe you wouldn't look at ANY SOURCE ON THE INTERNET which can give you the correct information, and then claim the person who told the truth had 'failed at life'.

  • @klozowski eh No, douchebag. I am not wrong. the tb303 went into major commercial production in the u.s. in 1981 and earlier in the u.k. The bee gees used it on a song called, "tragedy" in 1979. a lot of bigger artist were privy to the latest equipment. So again I am not wrong. You are just uninformed.

  • furthermore i wouldn't be using wikipedia as a source.

  • ACIDROBICS!

  • wow, i had no idea that a video was made for this song. i love Acid Queen!!!

  • show it to me!!

  • I have the LOA cd, this song I love as well as the Mirror. This video reminds me of a knock-off of the Boy Toy, Touch my Body video.

  • Good acid.....

  • DIRTY .... NEW BEAT REVIVAL

  • new beat is the best!

  • this was a fucking good song.

Whitout new beat there would be no house.

  • @dabimaniac groot gelijk !!!

  • @dabimaniac GROOT GELIJK Dikke en nu gewone Ronny

  • @dabimaniac .........and acid,too!

  • @dabimaniac Other way around. House was being made in chicago after the death of disco. Techno was being made in detroit around the same time. Both of the genres influenced the acid scene and newbeat scene

  • It sounds like Michael Douglas.

  • YOU RULEEEEE

  • yes...met mijn zwarte hemd met witte bollekes en men onderbroek met smileys en dr.martens-schoenen danste ik de linoleum van de dansvloer;)...num gaat da wa minder:)..thx da was een dijk van een plaat!..grtz

  • TERMINATOR II in candy shop. Arnie you look like a fag.

  • Dacht eigenlijk altijd al dat het van LOA was..... haha..... dus eigenijk stiekum toch wel!!!Gr.Natalie.....

  • long time ago, when i was young i dance the sky out on this number! ACID house and newbeat! and every where smiles, on the clothes etc, i remember also nikky trax or something? and then a song.. whit sample, "i wanna fuck nikki trax!" hahaha ;-)

    ACID HOUSE RULEzzZZz

that song Acid drill, i cant found, also a verry good old skool one :-)))

  • "...oh that's nice" Is it just me or does this stuff sound similar to what you'd get if you sampled vocals from a B-grade 60's euro s&m/lesbian vampire film?

  • ?? nathalie daleat was as straight as an arrow in the sack.

  • ACIEEEEEED !!

  • I must admit that while watching this video, i don't really care about who is who, and who isn't. I just enjoy the video of one of the greatest Acid New Beat tracks ever.

  • and yes nathalie is fucking hot. she's the one on the "lust" cover for l.o.a.

  • peace0ff - your comments on this video are a fraudulent mask of the bigoted racist hatred you openly urinate onto other YT videos. You are a middle aged blathering chunk of expectorated primate bile wallowing in your dead mum's vaginal cheese. This also goes for your alter-ego neo80s and your other personalities.

  • this isn't nikkie, it's nathalie daleat in the video, along with dirk wanderwalla and tejo de root. Major Problem was nathalie, dirk and tejo. praga and nikkie, was only given name credit because they had the connections to record label antler subway. it's like when daniel miller got early credit for depeche mode. but dirk nathalie and teja actually did the track and are in the vid.

  • This Is Acid New Beat

  • dirty!!! dirty!!! nikkie van lierop live on!!!!! go acid!!!!

  • the website is pragas so it's biased. dirks says differently and anyone worth their salt knows what went down. jade had a tizzy fit for nathalie outshining her. dirk didn't care and gave them the name. i'm not going to argue with some net-retard who doesn't know how things started. i used to produce the belgian music train show.

  • If you go to praga khans "who is who" section nowhere does it say natalie is the "original vocalist." IF that doesnt help you email Ven on CoA or email praga khan himself. Im sure you have his email if you have any of his albums.

  • you're a n00b idiot. this group was called major problem not major project.

this was the original loa lineup until dirk gave the name to his friend maurice aka praga k.

nathalie is the original loa vocalist also. as well as cover girl for loa.

  • Maurice Engelen, Nikkie van Lierop, Jos Borremans (aka Chris Inger, who did work in lots of other projects in 1990 and before with Praga Khan such as zoals Jade 4U, Moments of Ecstacy, Tribe 22, Dirty Harry, Major Problem, Shakti, Electric Shock) and Harry van Oekel. The first gig was given in Roeselare, but as the band had only 1 song, they borrowed the song "Acid Queen" from another project called "Major Project". For the stage-act, Natalie Delaet a blonde femme-fatale was hired in.

  • I think I heard this a really long time ago on KROQ late at night around 2am.

  • natalie daleat is so cool. dirk too

  • Isn't this the original line up of Lords Of Acid? Looks a lot like Dirk, Natalie & Tejo.

  • yep! original L.O.A. lineup until praga stole/borrowed the name. Dirk was the creator.

  • and just look at natalies butt! yum!! the dutch always seem the most built to me. must be the viking genes from when they settled down there.

  • Umm...No. Praga Khan and Jade 4U are the founders of LoA. While they were on tour with their other side projects Natalie, dirk and tejo performed as LoA.

  • WOW, This is rare,

    i love NEW BEAT!!!!

  • Merci beaucoup pour ce morceau d'histoire,

    ACID NEW BEAT RULEZ

    OLD SCHOOL WILL NEVER DIE.

    MORE NEW BEAT PLEASE!!

  • I first heard this song at ParisNY, Long Island's New Wave club, in 1989. Then I scoured the world for it and couldn't get an audio copy till about 1997. Psyched to finally see the video! SO HOT!!

  • classic pure classic!

    new beat at his best!

  • Souvenirs, souvenirs...

  • Fabulous! Viva ACID NEW BEAT!
