no dude, that really is musharraf's convoy. u are right, the typical 3 car arrangement is quite common, but not always true. i was present at the IDEAS 2000 and when he arrived, the entire motorcade came and stopped. it had only one merc. the funny thing is that mush actually got out of a 3 door jeep that was way back in the 8 car convoy. they were using the merc as a decoy. desertfox is right, only mush gets those white machine gun mounted land cruisers.
I'm not a Pakistani or have never been to that country, but this doesn't look like a Presidential convoy at all... When Musharaff of Pakistan or Manmohan Singh of India come to USA, they get HUGE motorcades even though there's less risk to them in the US than in India or Pakistan... then how come this several cars long motorcade was of Pakistan's most powerful person? It can't be... it looks more like a minister's convoy.
well this was one set of cars ,... and they come and go in atleast 50 to 60 cars .. now divide it in different sets .. and count how many will be in number... Mushraraf would in one out of many....

Mush's convoy has at least 4 or 5 mercedes goin in pairs and are at times are quite spaced out at times.When more army vehicles, it shows maybe PM or Mush..However as definitely said, this aint musaraaf.his is a lot more hard core and heavy duty. I can attest to all of this becoz where i used to live facin a famous bridge in lhr (sher pao) and i could see everythin from like a stone's throw(and literally a stone's throw from my house).

I personally think its the Core Commander of the 10th Corps. Musharraf never travels in a single convoy but there are three separate convoys. He uses 12 SL class bulletproof mercedez cars and normally a firebrigade and ambulance follows at the end. I am from Rawalpindi and live close to the Army House. And I agree with this person that when Musharraf is on move, both sides of the road are closed no matter what. I personally saw it last time in Jan 2008.
Core Commander 10th corps do travels in SL but with a four star plate on it. Secondly he has been given only one SL not three. Who told u Musharraf travels with 12 SL?? I have seen his convoy many times myself and read in newspaper also that he has only three SL's in his fleet, sometimes four. And in the last ambulance and fire brigade were there but I didn't captured it in the video. After BB's assassination both sides of road are closed for him, but it was not like this b4 BB's death.

I totally agree that two of our ministers are given bullet proof SL's. And i have read that news as well and there it is mentioned that PM's fleet has 8 cars. But he doesn't use all 8 at the same time, but he uses only 3 or 4 when he travels. Remmaining cars are reserved.. Same is the case of Gen. You can check with anyone who has seen his convoy. And let me tell u 1 more thing, Many ppl have seen musharraf including my freind driving the car himself, and only one side of the road was closed.

this is not musharafs convoy... this must be sum governor or sumone from govt.... and i have to disagree from osmanmasoodkhan.... they dont clear both the roads.....i live in pindi and i have seen musharafs coveoy like a hundered tyms..... and musharaf has 4 or usually 3 black cars travelling at a fixed distance to each other at like 70 km/hr speed.... ..and i didnt see any 3 similar cars in this video....

no dude, that really is musharraf's convoy. u are right, the typical 3 car arrangement is quite common, but not always true. i was present at the IDEAS 2000 and when he arrived, the entire motorcade came and stopped. it had only one merc. the funny thing is that mush actually got out of a 3 door jeep that was way back in the 8 car convoy. they were using the merc as a decoy. desertfox is right, only mush gets those white machine gun mounted land cruisers.

I'm not a Pakistani or have never been to that country, but this doesn't look like a Presidential convoy at all... When Musharaff of Pakistan or Manmohan Singh of India come to USA, they get HUGE motorcades even though there's less risk to them in the US than in India or Pakistan... then how come this several cars long motorcade was of Pakistan's most powerful person? It can't be... it looks more like a minister's convoy.

Mush rarely used that bridge , but wen he used it there were a lot more cars.Maybe 40 or 50 cars and all.army would be everywhere, sometimes a police wala or soldier would ask if he could go on our roof.and wen his convoy would sometimes pass, it used to be extremelyyyyy quiet coz both sides of the road were blocked!this video could be Nazim or Governer or even maybe cm.i dont know how its in karachi but i could surely tell of lhr.

Mush's convoy has at least 4 or 5 mercedes goin in pairs and are at times are quite spaced out at times.When more army vehicles, it shows maybe PM or Mush..However as definitely said, this aint musaraaf.his is a lot more hard core and heavy duty. I can attest to all of this becoz where i used to live facin a famous bridge in lhr (sher pao) and i could see everythin from like a stone's throw(and literally a stone's throw from my house).

PPl saying this is not Musharaaf..are RIGHT!!!..Wen he travels, 1)roads are always blocked from both sides, 2)as mentioned be4,he has ambulance and fire truck right at the end to follow, 3)soldiers are usually posted at distances to stand 4)as seen in video,true convoy wasnt continuous and goin in pairs with land crusier and merc, mushraffs convoy always has a lot more mercsand usually there is a smaller police land crusier with a lots and lots more army vehices to follow.Army is more prominent

I personally think its the Core Commander of the 10th Corps. Musharraf never travels in a single convoy but there are three separate convoys. He uses 12 SL class bulletproof mercedez cars and normally a firebrigade and ambulance follows at the end. I am from Rawalpindi and live close to the Army House. And I agree with this person that when Musharraf is on move, both sides of the road are closed no matter what. I personally saw it last time in Jan 2008.

Core Commander 10th corps do travels in SL but with a four star plate on it. Secondly he has been given only one SL not three. Who told u Musharraf travels with 12 SL?? I have seen his convoy many times myself and read in newspaper also that he has only three SL's in his fleet, sometimes four. And in the last ambulance and fire brigade were there but I didn't captured it in the video. After BB's assassination both sides of road are closed for him, but it was not like this b4 BB's death.

Open this news and read it. It has got all the details. Your ex-PM was using 8 bullet proof cars in his fleet. Do you think he needs more security than Musharraf? I totally agree that two of our ministers are given bullet proof SL's. And i have read that news as well and there it is mentioned that PM's fleet has 8 cars. But he doesn't use all 8 at the same time, but he uses only 3 or 4 when he travels. Remmaining cars are reserved.. Same is the case of Gen. You can check with anyone who has seen his convoy. And let me tell u 1 more thing, Many ppl have seen musharraf including my freind driving the car himself, and only one side of the road was closed.

It is not musharraf's Convoy.... This convay can be of Chief minister or Governor... When musharraf travels there are 100s of security cars and both sides of road are blocked for all type of traffic.

Yes when bush, and saudi king came then both sides were blocked. And there r not 100s of cars in his convoy. only 15 to 20 cars are there for his protocol.
